Testudo Times Another Colts Terp

Frank Reich was named QB coach of the Colts to replace new head coach Jim Caldwell. Apparently he had interned with the Colts and last year made a full time employee. Good situation. Not only is it high profile with Peyton around, the coaches ahead of you on the pecking order arent likely to be aroundd long.OC Moore is long in the tooth, WR coach Christenson is starting to get sniffs for OC positions. OL coach Mudd is older and also doesnt appear to aspire to move up the ladder. Could be a nice path to an OC position in a couple years.

Testudo Times Big debut for Lance Ball

Congrats to Lance Ball on an excellent first action with the Colts. 83 yards against the Titans. Only blmeish was a fumble as he lunged for the endzone but his OL had his back, recovering for a TD. Hope he showed enough to earn a shot with the team next season. Tough job tho with MIke Hart coming back from injury to back up Rhodes and Addai. Maybe more good work in the playoffs to come?

Testudo Times Congrats to Lance Ball

signed to Colts practice squad. With injuries besetting Colts stable of RBs it could be a good situation. Others ahead of his know the system to have a leg up but arent better RBs than Lance is so he might get some PT. I dont recall him having the blitz pickup duties he will have in Indy but he can catch, break some tackles and his feet are nifty enough to run the Colts stretch plays. Bigger probs might be for a 6'5" Peyton Manning to hand off to a 5'9" Lance Ball.:)
