DGP 58: TUCK FECH

We discuss Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, and why it's so important to not worry about Alabama until it actually becomes official. Until then, there's only one remaining team on our schedule, and it's the NATS from downtown Atlanta.

DGP 57: That was for 2010 Edition

There are games you win and there are games you lose. There are also games where you get embarrassed and games where you do the embarrassing. We were the latter of that second statement on Saturday.

Dawg Bites: Thirst for More Edition

A look into the UGA/Auburn rivalry in the 12 years of Mark Richt as head coach. The Dawgs have the SEC East on the line, but when it comes to Auburn, that should take a back seat to winning again in this historic rivalry.

The Dawg Gone Podcast: That 70s Show

You heard right, ladies and gentlemen. Your regularly scheduled Dawg Gone Podcast Presented by Gordo's Cheese Dip has been replaced with a trip back in time when disco was king and the porn mustache was more of a statement than an indictment.

The Dawg Gone Podcast: THE COLD EPISODE

This week, Kyle and I wax Dawg Poetic about how it'll be a cold day in you-know-where before Kyle wishes Florida well, how awesome it is when Gordo's Cheese Dip sticks to your bones on a chilly day, and why Ole Miss has pure ice in their veins.

The Dawg Gone Podcast Show 54: The Roundtable

If there's one thing we like to do, it's pander to the masses. Flattery will get you everywhere. Such is the case with the Dawg Sports Georgia-Florida Roundtable's return. You guys have asked for it many, many times, and so we delivered.

Who Has The Easy Schedule Now?

What a difference a year makes, right? Before the season began, all you could hear was South Carolina fans whining about how easy UGA's schedule was for 2012. Looking ahead to 2013, we see that the squeaky wheel got a lot of grease.

The Dawg Gone Podcast Show 52 is Ready!

In this episode, we cover the game against Kentucky this weekend, and drink a football bloody mary by taking questions that are essentially the hair of the Dawg(s) that bit us.

The Dawg Gone Podcast Show 52 is ready!

This show is the only thing Steve Spurrier can't turn into a winner in 4-5 years. In other news: Steve Spurrier sucks...just not at coaching.

Friday Morning Dawg Bites: #WinItForBennett

#WinItForBennett to my knowledge was born on Twitter by team members. Even if it wasn't the brain child of someone wearing the uniform, the players took to it immediately and began spreading the word.

The Dawg Gone Podcast Show 51 is ready!

Hello again kids! The Dawg Gone Podcast Show 51 Presented by Gordo's Cheese Dip is ready, and there's no time for clever quips. It's the biggest game of the season for the Dawgs & it's time to decide which is the good team & which is the great one.

The Dawg Gone Podcast Show 50 is ready!

This episode focuses on the three things we love: Gordo's Cheese Dip, Statistics, and Shots. Give it a listen and play the drinking game to get a healthy dose of all three.

Friday Morning Dawg Bites: Hunker Down vs. Anchor Down Edition

This week's Friday Morning Dawg Bites takes a quick look at the game against Vanderbilt this year, links up to several articles of note concerning UGA, and previews The Dark Hog Rises.

The Dawg Gone Podcast Show 49 is ready and is hopped up on cold medicine and Gordo's Cheese Dip.

Hello again, kids! This week, we welcome in The Dawg Gone Podcast Presented by Gordo's Cheese Dip, bring you a new intro, and I spend most of the episode fighting the never-ending need to cough up a lung. In other news, Kyle and I wax Dawg Poetic abo

The Dawg Gone Podcast Show 48 is ready and refuses to hold a football around Jarvis Jones.

Hello again, kids! We're playing FAU this week, so Kyle and I spend a majority of our time completely ignoring that game and OMG DID YOU SEE JARVIS JONES??!!??

Friday Morning Dawg Bites: Stake-out Edition

The Friday Morning Dawg Bites stakes out UGA's buses and planes to see if they're carrying precious cargo. Also, there's a Passenger 57 reference, so you pretty much have to read it...or else.

The Dawg Gone Podcast Show 47 is ready and encourages you to PACK BEFORE THE GAME!

This week, myself, Kyle and a bonus Chuck (aka chuckdawg) are waxing Dawg Poetic in an effort to bring you some idea of just how big this game against Missouri can be.

The Dawg Gone Podcast Show 46 is ready and wants you to Sing Like Hail

Friday Morning Dawg Bites: Ezekiel 25:17 Edition

With Samuel L. Jackson visiting the UGA Football team yesterday, we thought it was appropriate to bring you a special Ezekiel 25:17-themed Dawg Bites. "Blessed is he" indeed.

Georgia Bulldogs 2012 Season Preview: The Tennessee Volunteers

Continuing the Dawg Sports 2012 Season Preview series, we're up to the fifth game of the season against the Tennessee Volunteers. Will the Dawgs handle the Volunteers easily, or is this setting up to be a trap?

The Dawg Gone Podcast Show 45 is ready and discusses PSU Creeps and Men's Basketball Seats.

Hello again kids! I'm glad to bring you this DOUBLE FEATURE EDITION of The DGP (the slang of "DGP" makes it more cool with the kids). Join us as we discuss Penn State Sanctions and Georgia Men's Basketball.

The Dawg Gone Podcast Show 44 is ready and notes that the first step is admitting you have a problem.

This episode, Kyle and I wax Dawg Poetic about something that hits close to home. Are we, as a fan base, enabling the "entitled athlete" mentality that has brought down some of UGA's most promising players?

SEC & Big 12 Champs to Face Off in Postseason

As Jason Kirk points out in the article, watching the Cotton and Sugar Bowls fight over who hosts this is going to be absolutely perfect. Geographically, it's a slam dunk, from a style of play and also a travel standpoint. It possibly renews old rivalries (you think Texas vs. A&M wasn't referenced?) and will mean big money for whoever hosts it. Since details are light, what are your initial thoughts on this?

Bubba Watson only three shots off the lead going into Sunday

If you're going to play with a pink driver, you can certainly justify it by being solidly in contention heading into Sunday. Good Ole Bubba is 6-under, which is three shots behind the leader, Hanson, at 9-under. Oh yeah, some guy named Mickelson had a HUGE day and is one shot off the lead. It's a shame too, since I've heard a few stories of Bubba playing with Phil at the UGA course years ago. I'd love to see that pairing. However, Bubba's paired with Louis Oosthuizen and they tee off at 2:30 pm. GATA, Bubba.

Bubba will play the weekend, MacPherson fails to make cut

With The Masters lead in the clubhouse currently at 5-under, the projected cut is at 5-over. Bryden MacPherson finished the day at 7-over, so there's absolutely no chance he'll play the weekend. Surely he's disappointed, but then again, it's The Masters. A score of 7-over after 36 holes in Augusta is a legendary feat for us mortal men. Bubba Watson, on the other hand, is still in great shape. The greens were not fair to a lot of people today, and he is holding steady at 4-under. The real key is Saturday, which always thins out the competition. If Bubba survives that, he's got a REAL good chance.
