I'm making a sign for tonight's game, and I thought I'd poll OtF'ers and see which of three options I should go with. My first thought was to make two signs: "Perry Rhymes with Fairy," and "Coincidence? I think not..." I'm also considering just "Perry Rhymes with Fairy" and "Perry is a Fairy" (all signs complete with a picture of a cute little fairy all dressed in pink). What say you, OtF'ers?

My daughter had a great idea, but she's been so swamped with homework that she hasn't managed to write it up here at OtF. Time's getting short, so I'm doing it for her:

Remember how Corey Perry was seemingly weirded out by gnomes during the playoffs last year? How perfect is the timing that we're playing them this Saturday, just before Halloween? I wonder how many people we can get to dress as gnomes and stand around the shoot-twice end during warm-ups? All it would really take is red pointy hats and fake beards.

This Saturday night is Preds night at the Sounds. Predators players are going to be there throwing out the first pitch, etc. Pete Weber's doing the play-by-play, and Gnash will be there. Oh, yeah, and the Predators "dancers."

Don't forget to use this website to get your tickets if you're going, because the tickets are considerably cheaper. The only drawback is that you can't select a preference re: section. If that makes a difference to you, though, you can order at the Sounds' website.

I'm watching a segment called "FaceOff" during an intermission on Center Ice, and this guy named Greenlay said that Rinne should have been included in the All-Star game to get a fresh face in net. Not that we didn't all know this already, but it's always a little surprising when someone outside of Nashville gives a Pred the recognition he deserves (besides Weber and maybe Suter).

I cancelled my subscription to the Tennessean late last year. They soon called with a half-off order if I'd re-subscribe. I decided that maybe, just *maybe,* it was worth that much money to me. But they're at it again, hating on my team. So, I am again a *former* subscriber. I told the customer service agent that it would take a drastic turnaround regarding the coverage of the Predators before I would again support them financially. So, weigh in below. Did you cancel some time ago? Today? Or option number three (not a good option):

What would be your #1 playoff wish that is totally unrelated to the Predators....not something that you want to have happen because of the implications, but just because? I would love to see the Red Wings knocked out during the first round, mainlly because their fans are just so annoying.

I'd be more scared to play Nashville (as a Wings fan) than I would be to play San Jose or Vancouver right now, regardless of how hot anyone is. Nashville is a pain in the butt team to play.
