Looks like Darryl Sutter has locked up Matt Stajan for 4 years at 3.5 million per season.

In 62 games played this season, he has 18 goals, 27 assists, for a total of 45 points.

Matchsticks and Gasoline Has the Offence Dried Up?

Just throwing this out there, but here are most of the Flames current streaks (and it's not pretty):

Jarome Iginla: 1 goal in 10 games

Olli Jokinen 2 goals in 17 games

Daymond Langkow: 2 goals in 19 games

Nigel Dawes: 0 goals in 13 games

Curtis Glencross: 3 goals in 18 games

Dion Phaneuf: 0 goals in 12 games, 2 goals in 33 games

Jay Bouwmeester: 0 goals in 29 games, 2 goals in 47 games

Dustin Boyd: 1 goal in 14 games

David Moss: 1 goal in 20 games

Craig Conroy: 2 goals in 40 games

Robyn Regehr: 0 goals in 46 games

Eric Nystrom: 0 goals in 30 games

Adam Pardy: 0 goals in 18 games, 1 goal in 39 games

Fredrik Sjostrom: 0 goals in 32 games, 1 goal in 41 games

Brandon Prust: 0 goals in 35 games

Brian McGrattan: 0 goals in 24 games

Cory Sarich: 0 goals in 23 games

Aaron Johnson: 1 goal in 21 games

I know I didn`t have to include the defenceman and 4th liners, but this does put some things in perspective:

-Calgarys ``Big 4`` defencemen (Boumeester, Phaneuf, Sarich, Regehr) are in a combined funk of 0 goals in 110 games (and this is not including previous seasons)

-Calgarys solid third line (moss, Conroy, Glencross)  have a combined 6 goals in 78 games (That would have been unheard of last year)

-The Flames Big 2 Power Forwards (Iginla, Jokinen) have a combined 3 goals in 27 games

- Is Eric Nystrom and his 0 goals in 30 games first line material Brent...
