5-star recruit Jaime Nared commits to Tennessee

Per multiple sources, one of the top players in the country, Jaime Nared, has committed to Tennessee. After visiting the Lady Vols this past weekend, Nared decided that Rocky Top country was the place for her. At 6-foot-1, she is one of the most versatile and complete players in the nation. Nared averaged 23.7 points per game last year; she will be reunited with her former club teammates in Jordan Reynolds and Mercedes Russell. More information to come later.

Top post player Kristen Simon down to two schools: USC and California

One of the top post players left in the Class of 2014 is down to two schools per sources. Kristen Simon, a top-50 recruit out of Windward HS (CA), is down to two schools: USC and California. Simon has visited both schools and reportedly will make a decision very soon. Her other finalists were Ohio State, Louisville and Texas.

Top-50 player Dekeiya Cohen commits to Baylor

Dekeiya Cohen, a top-50 player from South Carolina, has given her verbal committment to Baylor. The 6-foot-1 Cohen is noted for her versatility; she averaged 22.2 points, 12.7 rebounds, 5 steals and 3.6 blocks last year for West Ashley high school.

Per Jim Massey of the Columbus Dispatch, four-star prospects Asia Doss and Kathryn Westbeld will be visiting Ohio State this weekend. Also in attendance will be Ohio State commitments Alexa Hart and Makayla Waterman.
