Did two comps of the soon to be Brooklyn Nets uniforms... just an idea.. Feedback welcome. I will go back and finish the whole uniform set. I know there are a lot of mock ups out there... people having fun with design ideas... but this is my take on it... i like the idea or direction I'm trying to pitch here with this design... if only it could be considered as an idea for now... that would be awesome @netsOrganization/marketing

Ok so we all pretty much know that the Sacramento Kings have plans to move their franchise to Anaheim. I'm also sure that most of you already know that they trademarked the  "Royals" nickname. Now what I'm speculating is that the "Kings" nickname could be available for use. The Nets PR have said they are working on the new brand for Brooklyn but do you think they've been waiting to see what the Maloofs will do regarding their team name change? because it seems to me that the Nets could take on or consider the nickname "Kings" when they move to Brooklyn. Just saying... Pure speculation... gets me thinking. What do you guys think?

We recently saw the latest Nets logo design flying around the internet and also read that King addressed the 2012 Nets as the "Brooklyn Nets" but I don't think that confirms anything regarding the new team name. When the Nets enter the 2011 Draft, will their top pick receive a New Jersey Nets jersey or will they surprise the NBA and fans with the new uniform/collateral; the new brand? I wonder. 

I think we will see the new brand by the draft. We could get official sneak peeks at whats going to happened as the Nets make their move to Brooklyn. I would also think they would release the new design/name and ideas by draft because of the possible lockout for next season.
