Could have used Fred now!

We trade him for PTBNL when our outfield depth just took a serious hit. Do we want Torres or Genio out there instead of Fred. We could have played his value up with Rowand and Derosa out. Another boneheaded move by the Giants brass. Where is the outrage? Where is our tea party movement (i hate them, but still)? I HATE OUR FRONT OFFICE!
Get out the pitchforks, or should we be content with Genio and Torres instead of our long lost hope for walks and stolen bases. Oh well, i'm just Fred's 3rd cousin twice removed ;) .

I remember Sabean using the disabled list to keep players around he could not figure out what to do with (i.e. Aurillia), so could this just be a ploy to keep him around longer to
A) Find trade opportunities for him
B) Or decide who to cut for him (unlikely)
or
C) Or he is just injured
How does calling Buster up later affect his Arbitration years?
Do we keep him for a year longer, or does it make no difference?

This is a great article, as the media comes to its all-time high in terms of random Kobe affection. It doesn't only use stats, as it knows most Kobe lovers will just ignore them.

This is a lost season. It's natural as fans to want wins. However, winning games isn't going to accomplish more than a worse draft slot.

'Hating' on Ellis?

Many (casual) fans find criticism of Mr. Monta Ellis to be unnecessary, and pointless. It is now regarded as 'hating' on Monta, the superstar. Behold, he isn't a superstar, star, or even an above average player.
Monta Ellis may appear to many as our best player. He most likely is the most talented player on the team. Look back at 07/08. Great season. Efficient. Unselfish. Winner. One of the best players on a good team.
