Hi, my name is Michael Harianto, I'm 16 years old, and I'm a sports blogger from Portland, Oregon.
I totally believe in the youth taking up a voice in sports, instead of leaving it to the older generation (nothing against older people). This is important because we are the most active age group in the country, and there is a higher percentage of athletes in our demographic than other demographic.
I'm a 16 year old sports enthusiast. I'm passionate about NBA, NFL, MLB, Nascar, and a variety of other sports, though my favorite professional sport is NBA Basketball. I also enjoy watching collegiate sports.
In my blogs, I do my best to try to articulate my view about sports. I offer interesting views about mostly NFL and NBA, though I will surely oftentimes throw in some views about MLB or Nascar.

This is why we want Bayless. Take more of these shots and less threes and he'll have 20+ points a game lol
Go for the Gold!
Three point shots are often called the “fool’s gold” because they are generally low(er) percentage shots that are taken in favor of driving to the hoop. This blog post will analyze the Blazers’ three point shooting trends and what they can do to help them win more games.
There's Always Room for Improvement...
Yesterday, in spite of a close loss in Houston against the Rockets, I proclaimed in my blog that it was a “great day to be a Blazer”. While I still think that it’s a great honor and joy to be a Blazers’ fan, today’s loss to the San Antonio Spurs proved that while the Blazers have come a long way from last year, they still have a lot of work to do. Here are three things that are essential to the Trail Blazers becoming a championship team.

It's still a great day to be a Blazer!
"Once again, I can say- It's a great day to be a Blazer" - Brian Wheeler (the voice of Trail Blazer radio broadcasts)
Ok, ok. So what? Our lovable Portland Trail Blazers dug themselves an 18 point deficit in the second quarter, which they trimmed down to just 2 points at 1:02 minutes left in the game, but stil managed to lose. However, in spite of this hearbreakingly close loss, I will explain why Blazers fans still have a reason to celebrate.
