I'd like to start quick by saying 111 was a pretty good card and most of the fights were exciting and lived up to their billing with the exception of Fitch. I enjoyed watching GSP positionally dominate Dan Hardy and developed a new found respect for Hardy in not tapping in some gruesome looking sub attempts. I think Bocek got robbed but the fight was good nevertheless. Almedia should def stay at 170, I think is shorter limbs and power translate much better at ww and with not alot of options left hes 2 solid wins from a title shot. Carwin is a scary man and Brock better use his double early and often or I think he winds up sleeping.........I'm excited to see the former D1 and D2 national champs go at it to unify the belts.

Now heres where this post gets worthwhile. After the main event was over me and my friend walked down to the octagon to get some good pics and maybe meet some fighters. Greg Jackson, Firas, and Phil Nurse were still there talking. I kept calling Greg Jackson over and he motioned "1 minute" and he finally came. I asked him for the ice pack he was holding and he said he couldnt give it to me cause it was his "lucky icepack". He offered me GSPs water bottle but i declined. I begged him for the icepack and he said he cound'nt but then i realized he had the corners towel on his shoulder and i asked for it and he threw it to me! The approx 30 people around us shreked in jealousy, some girl begged me for it, and i told her hell no and walked away extremely pumped!! The towel was still a little damp but it wasnt till i got home 2 hrs later that i realized there was a few dried blood stains on the back of it!! I dont know if GSP bled at all in the fight but if not im assuming it was Hardys blood that they wiped off of Georges body!! Either way it makes it much cooler! My friend managed to snap a pic of Jackson stretching his arm to throw it to me which makes me happy too!! Well thats really it but i was and still am so excited because never in a million years did i think id go home with the blood stained towel that Jackson used to wipe down GSP in his corner!!
