What do we do with Crosby?

Given the results of his career performance, "What realistic idea/thing are we going to do with him?"

I am all ears in listening to what other ANers have to say and I also hope to spark a good debate about what options are on the table in regards to his current contract and future out of Oakland?

I hear about "Furcal" coming in as an option but don't know if that is what Beane truly wants to do about Oakland's "SS" position.

I am hopeful of Donnie Murphy bouncing back and making things at least interesting because I just don't see Pennington's bat developing enough to be an everyday MLB shortstop.

Rating Bob Geren

Given the time that has passed and grades and analysis are being done to evaluate the team, the question that I have to all AN members is what grade does Bob Geren get for his job as the skipper of the Athletics????

Given all the injuries the team has faced and the lineups he has had to work with really seem unfair to take into consideration. Given we all agree he is better than Ken Macha, what about Ron Washington though? Do you think Oakland would have been better served with Wash?

I think I would give a grade of C+ or a grade of B-///
Maybe I see things different than other AN members, but in a way I'm not really impressed with Geren, but also not calling for his firing like we did with Macha.

I welcome any thoughts and insight on Geren's performance~

Whats everyones take?

Seems like every time I turn on Sportscenter he is getting lit up~

Did Jeter deserve to go in as a starter?

On a side note...

Whats the status of the A's recalling Travis Buck??? Seems like he could use some AB's during this injury stretch rather than Emeal Emil B. I would like to see a little more of D. Murphy and see what he can string together while Crosby is down???

I would like to set the bar at 110 innnings. What is everyones over under???? I want to see him at least make 20 starts for the season to be considered a rebounding success.

I welcome all insight in regards to this Athletic player. Please feel free to give any comments regading possible future options about him? What does Beane think of him?

What is the plan with him? How long is he in our organization? How long can we use organizational control over him?

Will he be apart of the team after the trade dealine or will he be apart of the players Oaklandparted wth for reasons beyond their control?
