Anyone watching this game? Anthony Allen just took off for an 82 yard rush to the endzone.... That would be the Anthony Allen that once played here.... That we let transfer.... who is still very good.

I hate you, Steve Kragthorpe. You're such a bad coach, you make it unbearable for me to watch two totally unrelated teams play. In fact, you have ruined all of college football for me.

Please let this season end quickly and mercifully.

Big XII-Big East "Challenge"

So as the Baylor-Uconn game starts, I'd like to comment how much I enjoy these out of conference match-ups. I know there was no formal agreement, but the 5 games between the Big 12 and Big East in the past 2 weeks has kind of been fun. I guess its sort of like the Ryder Cup. Individual teams playing for a greater purpose. I've enjoyed cheering for the other Big East teams, hoping we can get to 3 wins first.

So Far, all 4 home teams have won, (SFU over KU, OU over UC, UL over KSU, and Colo over WVU) and I'm hoping UConn can score a win that will "win us the 5 game series." I wish we had some sort of trophy (like that stupid thing the ACC wins every year in basketball when they smash the Big 10+1).

Maybe in future seasons we can get coordinated. 7 Big East teams (NOT Syracuse) to all play 7 ACC or Pac-10 teams in the same week. That way, a UConn v. BC game or a Pitt v. Arizona game becomes more fun for the rest of us. As if we had something on the line. Just a thought.

PS - Someone should have told Pitt that Iowa STATE, not Iowa, is in the Big XII.

Its a slow summer, so I'm reading every Big East blog on the internet...

Anyhow, I came across this pretty funny 'Cuse blog about Louisville football:

http://nunesmagician.blogspot.com/2008/06/we-sure-do-schedule-lot-of-big-east.html

Not sure if he is talking about the CJ or not... but for the record, I'm going with option #3.

PS - Duke sucks more and more every time I think about them.
