Dear Santa, Why?!... Ugh. Last night was the Cardinals game in repeat. It hurt. I'm not gonna lie. Anger, disapointment, and a flash of (its over) hit me. But I stay strong because of one reason...

We're still the #2 team in the NFC. That means we still have a first round bye... for now. If the "Hot 'n' Cold" Vikes can manage to pull out a big game monday night and lock up the 2 seed, we'll have our somewhat, well deserved bye. This gives me hope. Lots and lots of hope.

We have yet to lose at home this year. Doesn't mean we can't lose, but we haven't. Winning our division already means a home playoff game. We need that bye. We do not want an extra playoff game, playing in Philly or someother horrible outdoors stadium.

I strongly believe that if we're the team 'we thought we were' lol we'll turn it up on MNF and beat the ugly Bears. We need to get back to that 6-0 team. We need that bye. We need to hand it to some team like Dallas, or Philly in the playoffs at home. This will induce a sense of hope going into the NFC championship game.

This is still our year guys. We can't lose faith. It's the NFL, and we're bound to lose games, including the ones we really, really, really don't want to lose. :(

So join me. Rekindle your faith. Have hope as we lock up that 2 seed. Then we can all be gleeful as we say "We are the NFC North division champion Vikings, with a first round bye. Life is sweet!"

The stage is set, its the perfect mix, and it comes down to this.

Lets say, in a perfect world, there was one game that could be summed up as 'the most horrible loss the packer nation has ever been served.' Im guessing it would consist - losing to the Minnesota Vikings - losing at home -and losing to the their poster boy, their star QB for so many years, their pride and joy, mr. Brett Favre!!!!

Today was a big game; it was our time to prove who we're made of. Sadly... we showed we can't chase down a turnover =P but looking forward, this wasn't our BIG game.

Looking forward to next week. The Packers. Enough said already. Any division game is a must win game. Tension is gonna be high, and after today, moral is a little down. Losing to the defending Superbowl Champions is one thing but Brett Favre playing against the Pack for the first time and we're sitting at 6-1, them 4-2; Its what we said at the start of the season... The biggest game of the year.

Despite whatever the bad news bears try to accomplish, I put my faith into this Single game. I goes as far as saying "this if for the division." We still have the bears twice, the cards, the bengals, and the G-men. We can not afford to lose to Pack.

Thankfully, we got that loss outta the way. We know how it feels. It hurts. Tender round the edges... But We have to bring the Biggest 'A' game we have. 4 complete Quarters. It's hard to say if we've played our perfect game. It would have been last week but the 21 points in the 4th was a bit of melt down.

We gotta get at em. We have to play amazing well, and we need the Silver Fox to lead the way.

Best in the NFC?

I love the Vikings, don't get me wrong, but is 6-0 enough to say we are the best in the NFC?

Going into Week 5, the Vikings were the most scoring offense. Leaving today, we just got passed. We were passed by a Saints Offense that put up 48 against the league's #1 Defense thus far.

... Is that utterly terrifying or am I getting too ahead of myself?

I would agrue. Yes the Vikings are the most complete team in the NFC. I love our Offense. I love 9 members of our defense =P But the saints now have a great running game and a top 10 defense. They didn't just beat the Giants, they destroyed them. It look like week 1 Saints vs Lions all over again.

THEY LOOK GOOD!!!

If we were matched up, lets say in the NFC championship, could we ground pound and have Favre manage the game and do what he does (Dominate) long enough to keep Drew Brees, and his Golden Arm that Penetrates the end zone so often, off the Field?!?! Lets be honest, our secondary is shaky, and without winfield today, that 4th quarter was hands down the worst quarter we've played in our 6 wonderful victories.

So, are we, The Minnesota Vikings 6-0, best runningback in the league, the silverfox, the four horesman; the best team in the NFC?

Aaron Kampman Up for Trade?!

Fox just said that Kampman isn't fitting into the Packers 3-4 Defense.

They said it would be in the best interest to get him on the trade block and get a deal done before the trade deadline! Wow! I guess if a piece don't fit, get rid of it? It would be more then a long shot to even fathom a possible trade between the Vikes and Pack, but could you imagine that four front.

Damn! It would be nice, but I would be excited to see him leave Green Bay. Whether the Packers are benefiting from his presence at that OLB position or not, he's a threat on the field. I would like to see him go.

Vikings New Stadium... in LA?!

Same story, different day...

On 5 eyewitness news, about 13 minutes ago, they had a report on the vikings possible move to LA. They began by describing a new stadium plan that is being put into 'GO' mode in LA. Its huge. Its really really really nice! They said they're building it, and the Vikes are one of a couple of teams targeted for the new stadium. The report went on by saying the lease is up in 2011, we are too far in debt for a new stadium, and a couple of 'tax payers' or Joe Shmoes, said they would not pay more taxes far a new stadium. It was enough info to piss me off and post this!

?!?!?! WHY, would that ever EVER happen?! The Vikes have to be maybe the 5th team to be considered to move! HEY, how about the Jaguars?! Their games are supposedly blacked out because of the lack of tickets sold. The Raider's famous owner, Al Davis, just annouced recently that the WHOLE team is up for grabs. He said "We're taking any offers, anyone is available, except for the real young talent." and The Rams could use a jump start, why not a new stadium?!?! The Bills have one of oldest, if not THE oldest stadium in the league.

So, in conclusion, I really don't feel that we should live in fear about this. I strongly believe Ziggy will get it done here, especially if we win the big game this year!

So who will it be? Who will call this new palace of a stadium home?!

Favre's never been 5-0!

WHAT????!!!!

After the game tonight, they had post game coverage of Favre, talking generally about how he loves being here, it was all about winning and becoming 4 and 0, and blah, blah, blah... I loved every second of it of course, but it was interesting watching Favre answer questions carefully so they wouldn't be scewed in the paper. Pretty much anything Favre could say that was remotely close to being negative or taking the wrong way was published at the bottom of the screen. One was "Favre: I was the most nervous I've ever been before game" and Another delt with how packer fans felt. It was all kinda rubish...

Then a state showed up on the bottom of the screen. Favre has never started a season 5-0! I couldn't believe it! So, knock on wood because anything can happen, but we go to St. Louis to face the 0-4 Rams and we're currently 4-0. Odds are... Us winning... comfortably. So this could potentially mark Favres first 5-0 start!

Lets pray this is a fast start to a beautiful ending :)

I'm sure todays game will be said to be over and over again as the most amazing ending we've ever had, but watching the game winning TD (again) while P.A. commentates made me post this.

Everything happens for a reason. For whatever reason Favre decided he wanted to play for us has me thanking god everytime I think about it! Props to our steller Defense, who once again played mighty fine run D, yet found a way to let score through the air, and Props to our O line for the most part!

The start of the game had the 49ers trying to pressure Favre with biltizes but with an O-line that seemed to be much better today, Favre became... Favre like. Picking apart the D and moving the ball around.

A.P. wasn't completely shut down but at the same time the 49ers did a great job of keeping him caged up. Shaun Hill had a better game then what I thought he would but that just shows you what kind of team we beat today.

Though some may feel it was undeserving or ugly... Hard fought games are won this way. Despite the first, second and third quarter, we're placed at our 20, no time outs and a minute-thirty to go. I would only pick one guy to lead us. Thank god for Brett Favre!

Next monday:

#1) CATCH THE BALL!!! For crying out loud please! Catch it! I don't know the exact drops but Favre's first pick as a Viking was due to a dropped pass.

#2) Get A.P. running wild. It's nice to finally see our vertical game and have witnessed the 40 plus pass day out of the legend but we will win by running the ball. The Packers run-D looked super soft against the Bengals.

#3) We can not give up special team Touchdowns! We just can't. Its a 16-3 lead going into half time if we don't let up that blocked attempt for a TD. We must eliminate those Mental Special Teams mistakes... for good!

#4) Get a ton of pressure on Rodgers. Their O-line is weak this year... very weak.

2:00 minutes left before half and I'm raising the Question?...

Is Big John hurtin us at center? 3 hurries, 3 knock downs and 2 sacks so far... Our pass protection looked poor through the pre-season and last week and now its worrying me...

Ps. Our run defense might not be the number 1 run defense this year... Henderson and Greenway are over pursing everything with a pulse and Leber is non-existent... The damn lions play us so tough. No huge worries but the second half needs to be a better showing.

Simply True and Simply Hilarious.

As noted, T-Jack had an MCL sprain, and looks to be ok, but thevikingage.com had a little side bit to the story. I found this to be entertaining but at the same time... true. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing rosencopter starting for us September 13th in Cleveland.

He was 21 for 29, 224 passing yards and 2 touchdowns against us last year. Yea he forced an INT, but this a QB who was usually playing from behind and had to make something out of nothing. Granted, T-Jack showed signs of improvement, and all around better play, but the 15 for 35, and INT for a TD against the Eagles in the Playoffs got me, and I'm sure more than 85% of Minnesota, Saying/thinking we don't need a savior, but we need a QB that can play smart and make plays when needed... Get a new QB!!!

I still can't look at T-Jack as our Franchise QB...
