Ty Wigginton, is too expensive..
According to Joe Christensen of the StarTribune. Ty Wigginton is too expensive and the Twins have not expressed any interest. I'm pissed, we need infield help and have payroll to do so. Instead we are going to stick with the same guys from last year. This is really unfortunate as we want the team to improve. Playoffs, don't talk about Playoffs I just hope we can win a game..

Jon Knott?
It seems that Jon Knott would provide a good bat off the bench for pinch hitting. He has very good power and seems to be a better option than Craig Monroe. He does lack good defense which could be an issue... Especially with the Minnesota Twins. But I'd like to see more of him. Your feedback would be great.

Brian

Twins interested in Joe Blanton?
In Ken Rosenthal latest video he said there is a 50/50 chance Joe Blanton May Be Traded

Two teams are showing significant interest. Rosenthal believes the Reds are one, and the Twins. Presumably looking for a veteran starter.
How likely would this be, they'd have to give up a lot of talent.

Cubs Offering Murton For Relief Help
http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2007/05/cubs_offering_m.html
if this is true, the Twins should consider making a deal for Murton. The Twins need a replacement outfielder and here's a guy that is pretty cheap, good offensive player. Yes, I know the Twins have some questionable pitching relief right now. Too bad this opportunity didn't come a month ago. The Twins have some tough decisions to make and this could be one of them. Any thoughts...

Ford hot after return from surgery

Notes: Righting left field
Ford hot after return from surgery; Kubel back to DH
Ford is hitting .250 (5-for-20) with two doubles and three RBIs in his first five games back. It's been the consistent play he's provided the club both offensively and defensively that has made him the go-to guy in left field.
Too bad this site isn't biased at all... Whatever the Twins say they print word for word.

Nathan, haven't we figured it out yet?
I don't understand why we haven't learned that Nathan always struggles when the team does not have the lead. This it is nothing new but I guess we haven't figured it out yet. Eventually we'll learn, it's just a matter of how many games are lost. When was last time he has done well without the lead? A non save situation.

Jason Jennings for Garza or Bonser?
Hello,
Just reading the Rocky Mountain News and read the following:
Minnesota has been the most consistent suitor for Jennings and has the potential to put together an interesting package of right-handed reliever Jesse Crain, who grew up in Boulder, and a young starter from a group that includes the likes of Matt Garza and Boof Bonser.

I hope they aren't considering trading either Matt Garza and Boof Bonser. Perhaps Baker, but not these fellows. What does everyone else think?
