Maybe some of y'all can help me out here.

I'm wondering if there's a comparable incident of 'moral turpitude' (gotta put it in quotes because it sounds so silly) on the part of a coach, who then received full support from his employers. There are plenty of incidents where the coach has gotten the proverbial boot, but what about otherwise? It seems like politicians can get away with this kind of thing (occasionally), but not college coaches.

Surely, what's happened here is worse than participating in an NCAA tournament pool or drinking beer with some coeds. Right?

Would it be kosher for Cal to re-hire one of BCG's assistants? Cyprien or Webster?

Reality = Perception?

So, I was just reading about this Dotson kid who was just offered by UofL. About Pitino, he says "...he gets players to the next level." This got me thinking, we've been hearing recruits say this about Pitino since the old days, but how long has it been since it was really true? Going straight off the top of my head, I'd guess Antoine's had the best career out of them all, but didn't he leave school about 12 years ago? I don't want to rag on any individual players, but do y'all think RP really deserves this reputation as a developer of NBA players? It seems I can remember as many NBA disappointments as success stories.
