Fantasy Hockey
Would anyone be up for doing a MHH fantasy hockey league on yahoo or another free league? I joined up with one on reddit's r/hockey and seems like it will be a good time. Then I figured, you guys are a good time maybe we should do a league here too. Yahoo has recently made it were you can do a keeper league from year-to-year as well, which would be fun. I suppose I could try and set things up if I have to, though I am entirely too lazy for such a thing. If anybody wants to volunteer for that too, jump on it.

I'm not a huge fan of Turco, but if any team can win a cup with him in net, it's likely Chicago.
Wild sign Koivu
I love Pauly and all, but Koivu for $5.4 million? Even with the every-other-year bonus, that's still not close to Pauly's $6.6 million.
edit: I guess capgeek has the average at $6.7 mill for Koivu. Pretty close to Pauly. Eh, I'd rather have Stastny.

Over at ESPN, John Buccigross often sings praise for the winged-wheel (in the few moments that they actually cover hockey). Today though -- today he said all Detroit fans are loud mouthed, whiny, conceited, narcissistic, diaper wearing, bitches. He has statistics to prove this. The fact that Red Wings fans are bitches has been proven by science. Spread the word.
(More accurately he said: "The Red Wings fans that e-mail me are definitely the most sensitive in the NHL.")
