Here is the maps of the games that will be broadcast in your area. Nothing like having some more Brett Favre shoved down your throat. Looks like pretty much everyone is getting the Minneosta and Cleveland game except parts of the South which gets he Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Bucs game. I was really hoping they would play the Phi/Car game here since they were two playoffs teams.

cause you do no live a broadcast region of the game, the game will be re-broadcast at 10pm central time on the NFL network. I live in Chicago so I unfortunately will have to wait till 10 to watch the game tonight. I'm going to try my best to not read anything about the game online so I can watch the game and get my own first impression of Michael Vick. Gonna be hard since every sports website and prob the major non sports sites will talk about his performance.

The Cubs are the worst team in National League when played in the 7th inning and later. Their stats are just putrid and it could be a sign of things to come unfortunately. The rankings are for NL only with the Cubs ranking first, what they've done in that category and the NL average. There are 16 teams in the NL

Soto back on Wednesday?

Cubs manager Lou Piniella will consider activating Geovany Soto on Wednesday if he fares well in his next two rehab games.
Soto will play Monday and Tuesday night with Double-A Tennessee. His next stop could be Wrigley. "I would think if he catches well tonight and doesn't feel any after-effects tomorrow... whether he catches in Tennessee on Wednesday or catches here, I don't see any difference," Piniella said. Backup Koyie Hill has played 207 innings since Soto went down -- 27 more frames than any other catcher in baseball in that span of time.

That's a ton of innings for Koyie who normally serves as a backup. This was taken from Rotoworld.com.

1st PSU Game, Need some tips

I just got tickets to my first Penn State football game. It ain't against the greatest opponent but it is against my alma mater Eastern Illinois on October 10th. I have grown up a Penn State fan and plan on rooting for them at this game while sitting in the EIU section

I need some tips on what to do there, bars, resturants, hotels to go to and not to go to, any kind of information would be helpful. Links to websites that say where to go, anything. I've only been to the campus once but was lucky enough to meet and get an autograph from JoePa!

Corey Patterson Released

Nationals released outfielder Corey Patterson.

Patterson was 2-for-15 with six strikeouts in an earlier stint with the Nationals this season. He hit .274/.318/.422 in 283 plate appearances for Triple-A Syracuse. Patterson will likely latch on with another organization's Triple-A affiliate.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in our minor league system again. At least this time there would be no pressure and with a minor league contract we could send him down whenever we wanted.
