My name is Mark Travis and I am currently a freshman at Ohio University double majoring in Online Journalism and Sports Management. I started writing back in 2008, when Michael Crabtree and the Texas Tech Red Raiders inspired him to start his own website. My first site, But The Game Is On, got me my first media credential in the summer of 2008 when I covered the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Houston Astros Double-A affiliate. I then gained media access to Team USA Basketball, NIKE and the NBA in the summer of 2009 and interviewed the likes of Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant and many other NBA stars.

Commented And if Sessions didn't get burned in every game by Ty Lawson or Andre Miller then the Lakers wouldn't have needed that shot. on Eric Bledsoe Is Emerging As A Huge Weapon For The Clippers on Clips Nation - 05/19/12 6:24 PM EDT
Commented That didn't happen today and that 24-0 run came in large part because the Clippers weren't rotating well. Dissappointing to see that considering the Clippers had a real chacne to get back on their feet. on Eric Bledsoe Is Emerging As A Huge Weapon For The Clippers on Clips Nation - 05/19/12 6:21 PM EDT

Commented Matt Barnes is a terrible defender so he would get torched. Kobe is better on Westbrook than Harden. on Lakers-Thunder Preview: Same Speed, More Weapons on Silver Screen and Roll - 05/14/12 8:09 AM EDT
Commented Crashing the offensive glass also makes it much easier for the opponent to get out on the break. There's a reason why Boston has the worst offensive rebound rate in basketball and the best transition defense. on Lakers-Thunder Preview: Same Speed, More Weapons on Silver Screen and Roll - 05/14/12 8:05 AM EDT
Commented Teams with those players have made it just as far in the post-season as the Lakers. on Lakers-Thunder Preview: Same Speed, More Weapons on Silver Screen and Roll - 05/13/12 11:40 PM EDT
Commented The Thunder had a mediocre zone offense during the regular season - they ranked 16th in PPP scored against the zone. on Lakers-Thunder Preview: Same Speed, More Weapons on Silver Screen and Roll - 05/13/12 11:19 PM EDT

Commented Bledsoe would be a great energy guard off the bench but he shot 23% on catch and shoot jumpers this year. Mo Williams is probably a better offensive fit. on The Honeymoon Period With Ramon Sessions Is Over on Silver Screen and Roll - 05/13/12 11:25 AM EDT

Commented You can say that Sessions is a better player than Fisher but you can't say that he brings more to the team. on The Honeymoon Period With Ramon Sessions Is Over on Silver Screen and Roll - 05/11/12 7:08 PM EDT

Commented That happens to Sessions just as often according to Synergy. He's giving up 52% shooting on ISOs. on The Honeymoon Period With Ramon Sessions Is Over on Silver Screen and Roll - 05/11/12 6:56 PM EDT
