Mark Travis a Sports Media major at Oklahoma State University that dedicates his free time to writing about sports. He is a member of the Pro Basketball Writer's Association, a dog lover and an aspiring magician.

He founded his own sports website called But The Game Is On in 2008 and has been credentialed by the NBA, USA Basketball and Nike to cover events across the globe. He also writes NBA columns for the Corpus Christi Caller-Times and has been credentialed to cover the Mavericks and Spurs in the post-season over the past two years. The highlight of his young career was covering Games 6 and 7 of the 2013 NBA Finals in Miami for the Caller-Times, which means he was permitted into the Heat lockerroom for the post-game celebration while Drake was denied entrance.

In October of 2013, Travis became an editor at Cowboys Ride For Free and delivers in-depth coverage of the football and basketball programs at Oklahoma State University for SBNation.
