Posting and Toasting Knicks Interested in Shaq... Thats Right the Big Diesel!!

Knicks have some interest in Shaquille O'Neal and may discuss a sign-and-trade option with #Cavs, league source says.

http://twitter.com/PDcavsinsider/status/18562899786

Now before you begin your crucification of Walsh and everything that is the Knicks, consider these two points.

Shaq still has game left, yes he is declining and is slow for our system, but he can help agaisnt teams with big centers such as ORL, and play spot minutes where size is needed.

Also he would give us advantages over teams such as MIA. MIA weakness is big men, they will always have the wing advantage but shaq and amare could dominate haslem and bosh, (or any subpar 4,5 combo for that matter)

Lastly, this would keep the big diesel away from MIA, and it states that it would be a S&T so it could be eddy and chandler for Shaq 1 yr 7.5mil and delonte west who has 1 year left.

Gang Green Nation Kevin Mawae? Should we sign him?

Should the jets target him. He was on ESPN stating no one has called him... He is 39 but could be good for the locker room and as a rotational player? He was also stating on ESPN that he may have not been recieveing phone calls becuse he is the head of the player association. Should we target him what do you guys think.

I personally think that we should give him a shot, he would be cheap and would not be replacing anyone only supplementing our O line

Gang Green Nation Holmes Trade completely opens up draft

We are filling many needs by other means than the draft, therefore drafting a WR is out of the question so say goodbye shipley lovers lol. I think this means Odrick or Hughes is a lock or we may even trade up which might not be a bad idea. I would not be surprised or mad if we ended up with Mays or Spiller or Earl thomas.

We also might take a O line men if we stay at 29 maybe Iupati?

Gang Green Nation jets work out Iupati

Jets eyeing Iupati in Round 1?

2:35PM ET New York Jets Top

The Brandon Marshall rumors taught us many things, but perhaps most centrally: The New York Jets value their first-round pick (No. 29 overall) more highly than many of us realize. After all, the ongoing belief is that if the Jets offered that pick, the Denver Broncos would easily accept a trade that would give Mark Sanchez and crew a young, dominant asset.

So who are they so hellbent on taking that they wouldn't like to have Marshall instead? Maybe an offensive lineman, which would seem crazy given that they already had three Pro Bowlers on the O-line in 2009. According to a report from National Football Post, the Jets are among three teams that hosted Idaho guard Mike Iupati for a workout this week. Iupati played guard in college, but he has the potential to slide to RT as a pro. The strong might be getting even stronger.

In case you guys did not know!!!!!

Gang Green Nation The good behind Feeley leaving!

With Janikowski receiving a 4million dollar contract feeling might command a contract in the 2.5mil range. Now while losing Feeley might suck that could be enough to sign Darren Sharper as a constellation prize.

I am not familiar with the complete list of UFA's but with around 2.5mil there might be someone of interest that can help this team. At that point we would need to hope Folk can return to old form. Something I am not confident in.

Discuss...

Gang Green Nation The Jets perspective on LT... The real deal

I am so sick and tired of people misinterpreting this move. 1st off Shonn Grenne replaced TJ late last season so it makes no sense to say why would the jets cut TJ just to sign LT, and then compare yardage. LT will not be replacing TJ he will be replacing Grenne as the backup and Grenne will be replacing TJ as the starter.

And the reason the jets did not match Kansas City offer is becuase one or any combo of the following reason(s) they view LT as a more versatile #2 than TJ(catching the ball), They believe TJ needs many touches to be effective, they believe TJ was not producing well towards the end of the season and also TJ might not have been to keen to relinquishing his number 1 job to the rook.

All in all, LT is not replacing TJ, GRENNE is. LT is not get the 300+ carries TJ got during his tenure GRENNE is. LT is replacing GREENE as the #2 and GRENNE is replacing TJ as the #1. Jets like LT more as a backup than TJ and i agree becuase he is more versatile where TJ needs many touches to be effective.
