hey guys, I really need some advice for this fantasy trade. I'm part of a mixed keeper league, and the trade deadline is near. My team really doesn't have much of a chance to compete this year so I'm really looking to sell of some valuable veterans for good prospects. Option A involves trading Brian Wilson for Alex Gordon and Jeff Clement. Option B would Could probably be made into trading Aaron Hill fo Jay Bruce, Yonder Alonso and the second baseman fom the Brewers. Now I realkydont know what to do, cause there are some valuable layers in both deals, but I feel like a top shelf second baseman is more valuable then a top shelf close. Now it's just to wonder whether Hill can sustain this production, or falls off after his monster season runining any of his value. So what should I do, option a or b or both? Which would be crazy almost

An interview with Hank Steinbrenner after the Yankees fall meeting today has brought some insight into the situation of Joba Chamberlain for this upcoming season. According to Hank, he has stated the following

"The plan as of right now is Chamberlain is going to be a starter...Everybody's pretty much in agreement with that"

Thoughts on what seems to be the hot topic issue this offseason for the Yankees, besides what free agents they will go after

OT: Matt Millen is finally fired!

Perhaps one of the most unexpected firings occured in the NFL today. Matt Millen was finally relieved of his duties as team president and CEO. The Lions under his tenure went a league worst 31-84 since he took the position in the Lions front office in 2001. This is a move that has been wide spread since the days he took three wide receivers in back to back to back drafts. Perhaps the only person who didn't want him fired was William Ford, the Lions owner.

So I ask these two questions:

1. Lions fans, Millen was definitely one part of the problem for the Lions, but how long will it take for the Lions ship to right itself?

2. Has there been any other executive more deserving of his dismissal then Millen, other the Isiah Thomas, former CEO of the NY Knicks?
