Don't really know what to put here other then the fact I have been following sports for nearly 20 years. Been a big fan of my teams listed for well over half my life. I one day hope to work within sports, either as a team doctor, or any part really.

Walk Up Music
I was trying to update MLB The Show 12 with some walk up music for the Mariners, and was in need of some assistance. I was wondering if you could help provide some info on walk up music for the team. Basically looking for 1 to 3 songs for each player that is actually played during there walk up to the batters box or coming out of the pen. I greatly appreciate all your help! After I get the list, i will provide a link for download for anybody that would like it.

Shea McClellin
As most of us have seen, Shea McClellin has made quite the jump through the year, and off season. Some barely had him on their radar to begin with but with an outstanding showing he is looking like a potential first rounder. My question to you is, if he managed to slip to us in the second, could you see our FO taking a bite on him and using his versatility as an end or an OLB? Do you think he would be a great fit? Could he fill the need at LEO? What are your thoughts on this prospect? Discuss!
Edit: Spelling error
Question for the masses
So just the other day we had probably one of the bigger announcements for the Seahawks this off season. We have wrapped up our core group of players, and made a move for somebody with a large upside at D-Line. And to top it off we have found our quarterback for the near, hopefully long term.
Operation Sports
Favorite time of the year again. Baseball is starting to get into action and my favorite MLB game is about to launch. MLB The Show, and as always the people over at OS are working up the full minors roster. that being said, who do you think should get what potential and ratings?
And what people should they just leave off?
5 Seed In Portland
Looking at the ESPN current bracketology, GU is a 5 seed playing in Portland. Current predicted opponent: Ohio
From Espn Rumors, seems everyone is seeing a lull in our recruiting
We noted recently that Skylar Spencer had cut his list of finalists to four -- a list in which Gonzaga was conspicuously absent. A few months ago, it seemed the Bulldogs would be in the race to land a Spencer-commitment to the very end, so the fact Gonzaga was not included was a definite surprise.
So where does Gonzaga turn to now, in terms of recruiting? The Bulldogs were able to bring in a very talented 2011 class, and it's not clear whether each of the members will take the court next season -- perhaps some will redshirt. However, in terms of GU's 2012 class, the situation is dim -- both Richard Longrus and Zena Edosomwan haven't been connected to Gonzaga in months, and early target Demarquise Johnson seems to have moved on.
Of course, Gonzaga could always return to their highly successful European and Canadian pipeline -- assistant Tommy Lloyd is one of the best at identifying prospects in far-flung places. However, at the moment, it would appear that Gonzaga's 2012 recruiting efforts are stuck.
While not explicitly stating that Okung would be back in time for the Seahawks' regular season opener, it appears that that is the expectation. In the meantime, Tyler Polumbus is the fill-in at LT.
Ending the Tour
Late 2010 I was kindly sent a flag from drthvtr along with some other goodies. Our dUI students decided to hang their flag next to ours where they both remained for most of our time in Baghdad. I am proud to say the only flag still flying is the now a bit tattered BSU flag. dUI gave up in the final stretch to find another way to lose.

Boise State Tops the List
Over at Football Study Hall they showed a Top 10 list for biggest difference between Best Performance Season and Worst. Boise St tops this list. Interesting read for some of the stat heads I suppose. Also you will see a top ten list for smallest difference between best and worst seasons.
Gonzaga going after Bryce Jones?
***
There hasn't been much word where Bryce Jones will land. The 6-foot-5 guard was once a promising member of the USC squad but since news of his transfer, there hasn't been any new news (other than he was looking at schools on the west coast).
Scott Wolf of the Long Beach Press-Telegram spoke to Jones and confirmed San Diego State, UTEP and Gonzaga are interested in Jones. But the kicker is -- Louisville and Kentucky might also be involved. Wolf clarifies that neither UL nor UK have requested a release so the situation is still far off for Jones to pack his bags to the east coast but the demand seems to be high for guard.
Could Jones stay out west? Jones says he will visit El Paso after the semester ends and SDSU has a history of roping in transfers from other Cali schools ( James Rahon and Malcolm Thomas).

Greetings Bronco Nation
Good evening from Iraq. Question for some fellow Bronco fans from a group of soldiers deployed from all across Idaho. We are stationed here in Bagdahd, and have a flag pole that is missing a piece from home. My question is would anybody be as kind to donate a flag that we can fly to show off to Iraq and rest of the deployed soldiers our faith and hopes for our Boise State teams. Thanks for your time!
Oh an address would probably be usful...

Pac 10 Ok's Expansion Talks
Lets see how the pieces fall together now...
Ken Griffey Backwards Hat Day
Trying to set a world record on June 24th in Memorial of Ken Griffey JR...
I personally will attempt with my 09 Stars and Stripes Mariners hat :)
2011 OOC Schedules
2011 would be our first year in the MWC if we got invited and accepted this year. That being said if we got in we would be able to knock Utah and Wyoming off our OOC schedule. If MWC keeps a 8 game conference schedule that would allow us to schedule on more game, but if they do a nine game conference schedule then we would be full with just Ole Miss, Toledo and Tulsa on our record. If they were to go to eight would you like to see them schedule Idaho or possibly a BCS team that I have listed below? I intentionally left off any SEC opponents since we will be opening agianst Ole Miss.
Brian Cushing Losing ROY
With Brian Cushing testing positive for PEDS, they have decided to revote for Defensive rookie of the year. Only reason I bring that up is didn't Shawn Merriman test positive for PEDS after winning Defensive ROY? Wasn't Lofa Tatupu second in those votes? Should there be some sort of retro vote for this very similar situation?
My thoughts is either revote like they are doing or simply hand DROY to the next in line for 2005. Whats yours?
SPOKANE, Wash. -- Gonzaga forward Mangisto Arop had surgery to fix a broken left foot and will miss the postseason.
Arop suffered a broken fifth metatarsal in Sunday's West Coast Conference tournament semifinal win over Loyola Marymount. The surgery pinned the bone to help the healing process.
Trainer Jennifer Nyland said he will be sidelined for about eight weeks.
Arop came off the bench in all 31 games, averaging 3.5 points and 3.8 rebounds.
Playing with fire
We wrote last week that maybe Gonzaga wasn't fired up enough. This statement came after fumbling a game to Loyola Marymount.
Even the Zags players realized they placed with a laid-back attitude, which can partially explain the 72-54 beatdown on Pepperdine this weekend. However, perhaps the two losses to USF and LMU are a foreshadowing of an early exit in the WCC tournament or worse, in the NCAA tournament. "We just didn't want to have that feeling we had on Thursday. We just wanted to show who we are as a team, not the sleepy, lackadaisical team that has randomly made appearances this year," said Steven Gray.
One key to look for in terms of scouting a potential Gonzaga upset: watch the game's tempo. Gonzaga averages about 69 possessions per game and in some of their closer wins, the pace has slackened (although, weirdly, the loss to USF was one of GU's fastest paced games of the year -- 79 possessions). Slow the pace and Gonzaga could struggle to see the first weekend of NCAA play: "The last game, we weren't pushing the ball at all, and that's a really big part of our game," said Demetri Goodson.
This was from ESPN.com rumors on Feb 22nd or 23rd.
Conference Expansions
With all the talks about the Pac-10 expanding to include the likes of CU, Utah, Texas, and more, and Big Ten looking at Texas, Missouri and more. There are talks of potential superconferences. What is the potential impact it could have on smaller conferences like WCC, WAC and what not.
Is there the potential that the Zags end up playing in the MWC, or conferences like that or? Also how much could that help/hurt our scheduling?
