The Rams on NFL Network Playbook
Bradford and the defense get some credit
Darell Scott is a really frustrating gamble of last year draft
He hasn't been really great but still he's not that bad neither. What frustrate me is that when the Rams selected him in the 4th round, numerous good WR were available. So I'm guessing the Rams tooked the gamble to wait in next round thinking that one of those WR would still be available. But between Scott in the 4th and Foster in the 5th, Brian Hartline, Louis Murphy, Austin Collie, Mike Thomas and Johnny Knox were selected. (to be fair, Kenny McKinley and Jarrett Dillard were also selected)
I don't know where all of those players were in the Rams draft board, I'm only speculating. But I've never seem so many good WR in the 4th and 5th round. It's frustrating because we took one right after them and he bust. Of course if we had a true number 1 WR, I wouldn't care.
Lappy talks about his situation on RDS

Of course it's in french so I translated it with google and then I made some correction. Ask me if something isn't clear.
The time of retirement may have come for Ian Laperriere of the Philadelphia Flyers, as the Courier-Post report.
Laperriere saw two doctors who advised him to retire because of post-concussion symptoms and nerve damage caused as a result of a concussion suffered last year.
"I could not wait to see if my test MRI was different but it was the same, he said on RIS. The doctor advised me to stay home and do nothing. "
The 36-year right winger has visited Pittsburgh neurosurgeon Joseph Maroon, Friday and it was determined that the puck that hit near the right eye, had caused damage to the nervous system and that it could affect it permanently if he continued to play. A doctor in Philadelphia gave him the same opinion, "said Laperriere, who plays in the NHL for 15 years.
"When the lights are on and there's movement around me, it's getting worse and I do not feel like myself," said Laperriere Courier-Post.
"That's what scares me so I can not play. They do not want me to get hit and I do not want to get hit too. If I feel like that now, how will this the next time I'd get hit? I'm not in shape, especially to play the type of game that I play. I'm going to kill him (he said get killed, I really don't know how Google made that happen). "
Every morning, Laperriere went to a hyperbaric chamber to try to speed recovery. "The plan is to go from day to day. It is clear that this type of injury is forcing me to think about retirement but I have not decided yet."
The Flyers have not filed retirement papers with the NHL but he is expected to offer him a position in the organization.
"If it should stop here, I had a great career," said Laperriere. I played a long time and I met many nice people. If I had to do it again, I would not change a thing. "
Laperriere has two years remaining on his contract with the Flyers at 1.166 million per season. If he retires, his salary will be factored into the salary cap for the next two years because Laperriere is aged over 35 years.
For now, the Flyers have called Laperriere on the reserve list waiting to decide whether to place his name on the list of long-term injuries or if the athlete look toward retirement.
Rumor: Barron to Dallas for Carpenter
Adam Shefter just twitted (you got to follow him guys) : Trade in works filed to ESPN: Cowboys preparing to trade LB Bobby Carpenter to Rams for OT Alex Barron. Not official yet but going that way.
and then he said : OT Alex Barron and LB Bobby Carpenter each were first-round picks and each might be served by a change of scenery.
So we finally get that missing OLB. I guess it means that Saffold will start at RT right away.
Shefter says that the Rams acquired Kevin Payne
He tweeted : Bears traded S Kevin Payne to the St. Louis Rams for an undisclosed 2011 draft pick.
I hope it doesn't mean that the rams won't bring Atogwe back. I hope it's just to make some pressure on the negociation.
Payne is good but certainly not better than Atogwe. I'm not sure that it's a good news for our defense. I seriously don't know what to think about that move.
Rams release Bulger!!
It's was just annonce on the official website
http://www.stlouisrams.com/article/78476/
“It is always hard to part ways with someone you care for and appreciate,” said Rams Head Coach Steve Spagnuolo. “I was fortunate as a first-year head coach to have Marc on our team. I will always be indebted to him for his work ethic, character and leadership. We wish him and his family nothing but the best.”
I really wonder what's next for him
What about that scenario
We trade our 4th or 5th for Vick. Release Bulger, and then draft LeFevour. And of course draft Suh or McCoy.
We start Vick for 2 or 3 years and get our running game going, because that's what he brings to the table. We let LeFevour develop behind Vick like Rodgers or Romo did. Why LeFevour? because he can play in the same system that Vick will be running. So our offense will be base on the running game so it won't put too much pressure our young receiving corps.
I was a big believer in Clausen but I don't think a rookie can develop properly with those receiver and I don't believe in putting rookie QB on the field right away. And by bringing Vick and a running first offense we don't absolutely need to draft or sign a WR and a TE for our rookie starting QB. I'm not saying we don't need help on offense, just saying it's not as important. So we can put more effort on the defense. (Personnaly I would like Weatherspoon in 2nd and Kampman in free agency)
So what do you guys think? Is Tebow a better option than LeFevour? Or McColt? Is Vick a good idea at all?
Who is it gonna be (poll)
So who do you think is gonna be the pick? I mean they might trade down or draft Sanchez and then trade him, I want to know who do you think is going to be in a St-Louis Rams uniform next season? There is a lot of smoke screen out there and I don't know what to think about those plane tickets, but it makes it very interesting.
So what do you think? I don't want to know who do you want them to pick, I want who do you feel is gonna be the pick.
Holt sign with Jacksonville
Can you believe it?
I tought he was tired of losing. Anyway it's sad. I already miss him. I don't see what's left of the Greatest Show on Turf. It's now a huge hole to fill on the roster. He used to be the face of the franchise. Our oldest receiver is Looker now, the more I think about it the more I think Crabtree should be our number 1 receiver.

Should we sign an older CB?
There is McAlister, Surtain, Bly and Sam Madison on the market. There're not long term solution but one of them could fill an important position. I'm not saying that we should replace Bartell with one of them because we need to sign him. Bartell and McAlister look better than Bartell and Hill. If McAlister gets 2 or 3 good year left it will give time to Wade, Hill or King to develop. I think the best option of the group is Bly because he didn't miss a lot of game.
But I also understand that their not young and there are not what they used to be. I think Devaney must look at every option, that might not be the solution but it might be a short term solution. So what do you think?
Let me see your mock draft
i know the draft he's only in april but i like mock draft.
1- Smith OT Alabama I love his run-blocking ability
2- Mack C Cal we need a good center for once
3- Chung SS Oregon Chavous is too old
4- Smith CB Cincinnati You can never have too much DB
5- White QB/WR West Virginia I know it might be a reach
6- Daniel QB Missouri He is tough and he is a fierce competitor (unlike Bulger)
7- McCall FB Alabama Good blocking FB like Mughelli for the Falcons
I know everything is going to change when the free agents starts but it still fun to do.
So let me see yours.
