Oh Where'd you go Billy-O?
So MLB.com contributing writer and Tampa Bay Rays baseball writer Bill Chastains (sorry if I spelled his name wrong) is missing. I haven't seen an article from him in days. A writer by the name of Brittany Ghiroli has been doing all the stories. Has there been some fall-out from the Jason Bay "We got 'em" story that made us all believe he was a Ray at the trading deadline?
hmmmmmm.............................or he could be on vacation. But yet he could be on vacation in the offseason (so think about that).
Important question
So I've been following this site for the past 2 years but I've been too lazy to make an account and join in the constant discussion. (btw all the comments during the last 4 hours of the trading deadline were more hilarious than any comedian's stand up).
Anyway I've been in disagreement with some people from the office in regards to the Rays lead in the AL East. Im a born and raised New Yorker (still live in NY) and I have alot of Yankees friends who I can't stand. I was wondering does anyone know the count as of today as to how many days in the lead does each team have this season. I know Baltimore lead for a total of a week maybe and the Red Sox have led for a total of maybe a couple months but the Rays have lead for a long time before the break and everyday since the start after the break. Does anyone have the totals of all 5 teams this year in the division?
My disagreement with my friends is that I don't believe the Yankees have lead at all this year. Someone help me out.
