2014 MLB Draft: The unsigned and undrafted

The freshman class, the 2017 draft class, is pretty impressive and even a handful of guys who are going to junior colleges could go well in 2015.

My thoughts on the Brady Aiken situation

Everyone seems to have an opinion on the Brady Aiken situation and I want to give mine as well.

An Introduction to the 2014 International Class

Here are my opinions on the top prospects in the class based on the sparse video that is available. There are some assumptions here but we are talking about 16 year olds.

The difficulty of evaluating International players

With minimal accurate information and not a lot of video available, evaluating the international class is difficult.

2014 MLB Draft: Top 350 Prospects

This is my top 350 list for the 2014 MLB draft. This is NOT a consensus list. This is my personal list and a list you won't find anywhere else. Enjoy!

2014 MLB Mock Draft: Version 2

The draft is pretty wide open this year with even the top of the draft being uncertain. Here is one way this could play out.

2014 MLB Draft: Texas and Oklahoma

Texas fireballers are represented well at the top of the list this year.

2014 MLB Draft: Ohio Valley

Quick impact talent and two-way players as well as two-sport stars fill this list.

2014 MLB Draft: Southwest and Rockies

Injuries and lack of depth make this region less than impressive but there is still some talent.

2014 MLB Draft: The Midwest

Impact bats at the top to depth in mid rotation arms make the Midwest deep this year.

2014 MLB Draft: The Northeast

The Northeast is a question because of the lack of playing season. There could be stars here but it is tough to project these guys because we see so little of them.

2014 MLB Draft: Pacific Northwest

Collegiate hitters are the impact talents here with Michael Conforto and Dylan Davis who both have power bats.

2014 MLB Draft: North Region

The frozen north is always difficult to rank but Keaton McKinney stands tall atop this list.

2014 MLB Draft: Georgia

The top of the class has impact and there is potential for more impact as you go down the list.

2014 MLB Draft: Florida Region

Florida is loaded with talent this year. Impact talent at the top and impact tools with others as you go down the list.

2014 MLB Draft: Mid-Atlantic Region

Not much impact but a handful of guys who could be solid regulars in the majors and a few prep guys who could move up after three years of school.

2014 MLB Draft: Deep South Region

A well rounded class that has impact tools and depth. It's loaded with college arms and is the strength of this area but it has everything.

2014 MLB Draft: Medeiros leads Island talent

While there is never a lot of depth in Hawaii or Puerto Rico, there is always some talent. This year there is some impact talent potential.

2014 MLB Draft: Carolinas Region

The Carolinas are strong at the top and have a few potential MLB regulars after the impact talent.

2014 MLB Draft: California Region

The regional coverage for 2014 begins on the west coast in California. There is a little of everything including a potential 1.1 pick in Brady Aiken.

2014 MLB Draft Regional Coverage Primer

An intro to my regional coverage for the 2014 MLB Draft.

GAPPER Report: The First Week. You can see the top players in each lg and download the whole report.

2014 MLB Draft: Luis Ortiz offers advanced arsenal

The righty has cut weight, worked hard and developed a mature build and a mature arsenal of pitches. He is old for the draft but the stuff is advanced as well.

2014 MLB Draft: Power-arm Burdi Should Go Early

Burdi's future is in the pen but the now stuff makes him a solid pick early in the draft.

2014 MLB Draft: Aiken's poise makes him special

Aiken has gone from mid to late first round talent to be in the discussion as the best prep pitcher in the draft this spring.

2014 MLB Draft: Pentecost is athletic and solid

Pentecost won't be flashy but has solid tools across the board and should be a solid MLB backstop with offensive potential.

2014 MLB Mock Draft: Version 1

Rodon and Hoffman at the top seem like locks but it's too early to commit to anything. This is more about names than ties to teams.

2014 MLB Draft: Cederoth is Dominant Relief Arm

Imposing righty is likely a bullpen arm but could be a dominant closer.

MLB Draft Top 300 Prospects for 2014

We are just under four months from draft day. Here is how my top 300 prospect list looks right now.

2014 MLB Draft: Fisher's Potential Still Intrigues

Fisher is a bit of an enigma but still has a lot of potential. The former top pick still shows the promise he did but has yet to polish his game.
