I know there's a few mlb.tv users on here, I was wondering, have any of you managed to get the 1.2Mb feed working? Every time I try and use it I get a Silverlight error, even though as far as I'm aware I've got the latest version of silverlight. I can get it going using the mosaic add-on but that's a lot slower than just using the browser version. It does look good on there though.

My girlfriend and I are visiting Southern California from 7th to 18th June, and are looking to take in some games. What do you recommend are the best ways to get tickets? We're looking to sit in a few different places, cheaper seats for most games but a few games in the better areas. I've looked at stubhub but there seems to be quite a lot of extra charges. Is ebay a good place to look?

I've posted about this before, but the fantasy league I've created could use a few more players. Currently there's UK Halo, Highland Halo, myself and my gf, and 2 of my mates. The draft is at 8pm UK time, which would be lunchtime/early pm for all you guys in the States. If you're interested in playing in a fun league with Halos fans, please let me know. I'm hoping to set up a UK based fantasy league, to cater for the Uk members of the site. The main benefit being that the draft would be at a time more suitable for us. If you're interested, let me know and I'll start setting it up. It'll be a 5x5, head to head league, with runs, rbis, hrs, sbs and avg on the batting side, and era, whip, strikeouts, wins and saves on the pitching side.

Not that it's of any real consequence to the Halos, but Jason Jennings just gave up 11 runs whilst recording on the 2 outs in the first inning at Minute Maid Park today - Ouch!!

What would you do if you were a fan? Cut your losses and go home or hope for some kind of miracle comeback? I suppose there's still 8 more innings but you've got to figure the Pads are going to tag on a few more

Nick Adenhart and Brandon Wood have both been put on the USA roster for the qualification tournament for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Both will leave their minor league team (Rancho and Arkansas respectively) and go for prep at the Astros training complex before the start of the tournament on August 26th.

Wood being there is obviously good, but Adenhart got shelled in his last start (Saturday) pitching less than 5 innings and giving up 5 runs on 11 hits, so maybe it isn't a great thing that he's going, although the experience might do him good.

I've got a 1989 all-star game Angels jersey that I recently bought on ebay in the UK, but unfortunately it is too small for me. It's made by Rawlings, is size 36 and is a grey road shirt with buttons. It's in mint condition, and has lovely embroidered logos (Angels on the front in the same style as the shirt Mrs Rev wears in the win pic), another Angels logo (Baseball with A in the centre over a map of California) on the left sleeve and a California Angels All Star game patch on the right sleeve. I will post pics later when I get back from work.

Basically, I'm gutted that this doesn't fit me and would love it to go to a fan who'd appreciate it. I'm coming to California for a month from Sept 9th and will the at the CWS game on 13th Sept and the Oakland game on the 29th. So rather than post it to anyone who is interested I could give it to them at those games perhaps.

Don't know if this was posted anywhere else, but there's a funny piece on Joe Maddon on today's uniwatch blog, including a great pic of the Halos wearing Maddon style glasses during the national anthem. Not sure how to post pics in a thread, or if it's even possible, so I'll just post the link:

Troy's just smashed 2 home runs off of Saarloos (surely there's too many vowels in there!), how we could do with some of that offense rather than Alfonzo's lame GIDP and pop-ups and D-Mac's swinging and missing

Hopefully we can capitalise on the A's losing (currently down 8-2) tonight and catch up another game in the west.
