Sam Smith: "I'm Back"

Sam Smith: "I'm Back"

He gives us his predictions and also a little juicy Bulls rumor. What do you all think if this is true? From Sam Smith:

"-- That injury to Larry Hughes was unfortunate. Of course, the joke going around with the Bulls crowded backcourt is the unfortunate part is it wasn't longer. But it may have been unfortunate for a bigger reason. I heard the Washington Wizards, with Gilbert Arenas out probably half the season, have been looking for ways to hold it together until then and have interest in Hughes. There supposedly were some talks with Etan Thomas (scheduled to start the opener as a showcase?) leaving Washington. There'll still be $6 million for the Wizards to make up, and perhaps that would include Darius Songaila, whom the Bulls liked when they had him. I heard the Bulls had talks this summer for the Wizards' Oleksiy Pecherov in a multi-team transition, but that faded. This one makes some sense for both teams and might be workable if Hughes can return from his shoulder injury quickly. He has his beat seasons in Washington and remains close with Arenas. The Bulls desperately need to unclog their guard logjam to give Derrick Rose more opportunities. Thomas never has worked out in Washington and rookie JaVale McGee, the Chicagoan, has been a pleasant surprise for the Wizards."

Salt Lake Tribune: What's Boozer worth?

Salt Lake Tribune talks about the contract status of Boozer and Okur, and their relative worth (market value), in this article. D. Williams wants to know what the team will be like before he inks his name to a multi-year mega deal. I think the Bulls should trade for Okur or Boozer. Give the Jazz some guaranteed players the next couple of years.

Apparently there is another rumor out there regarding Boozer being traded. This time it has him going to the Charlotte Bobcats for Gerald Wallace and Sean May. If this rumor is true, which it most likely is not, then the Bulls need to get in on trade talks too!

http://www.blogabull.com/2008/7/9/568451/boozer#comments

An interesting thread that furthers the Boozer to the Bulls ideas. Is the proposed trade in this post realistic? What other options can we send to get Boozer?

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, so sorry if it is a duplicate! There's also a small video on the website to watch. Does it seem like ESPN is adopting Beasley as the star of the draft?
