NFL Total Access Interview with Nate Burleson
Just as the title says, I was just watching Total Access and they had an interview with Nate. I really liked his answers and what he had to say. A couple interesting things were mentioned :
He mentioned that Linny was in Seattle at 12:01 to talk to him and negotiate. Things shows me that the coaching staff had a definite plan and KVB and Burleson were obviously the two guys they decided they had to have and could afford. The fact that linny was his coach previously and was there at 12:01 shows me they think he is the right guy.
He also was asked how he felt about being in Detroit and gave great answers. When talking about his role with the team, he said he doesn't care if he is 2nd or 3rd, playing the slot or whatever, he knows his job is to keep defenses honest and to help take the burden off of Calvin. He said he saw some tape and he saw how sometimes CJ would have 3 guys on top of his head as soon as he got off the line, and he is coming in to Detroit to keep that from happening.
Try to catch a rerun of tonights total access if you can guys and check it out, it was a good interview.
Ledale White Asking for a Trade
Lendale White said he was looking for a trade in an interview today. He doesn't see himself sitting on the bench another season. He aknowledges that that Chris Johnson is a God right now, but feels he could be a starter somewhere.
http://espn.go.com/blog/afcsouth/post/_/id/9982/white-asking-for-a-trade
They tendered him at a 2nd Round level, what do you think they would be asking for in trade value? Does his history with Schwartz and the weight problems they had with him prior keep Schwartz from seriously considering him? He has had his issues, but even overweight he showed that he could pick up yards when needed. He is better than Kevin Smith in my mind and would be a nice pairing with a little speedy back like Aaron Brown.
I know we have looked at this in the past but now he is getting vocal about not wanting to be with the Titans next year, what do you guys think?
Skins Release Randle El
http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/19256/skins-re-sign-rabach-release-10
Apparently the redskins released 10 players, one of those being Antwaan Randle El. What do you guys think of Randle El as a possible slot receiver? I haven't watched him play but he used to be a speedy little guy with a decent chance of breaking one after the catch.
He is getting up in age and D Williams kind of reminds me of him anyways, but if he wasn't too expensive he might be an option. What do you guys think?
Lions RFA Update - All Players Informed of Tender
According to ESPN and their quotes of MLive and Detroit News, all players have been informed of their status. The only players not tendered were Cody Spencer and Copeland Bryan.
Jason Hunter was the only one who got a higher offer and he got a 2nd Rd level tender.
You can read the posts here :

Senior Bowl and Prospects - Day 3
I'll start by saying that most of what I have been reading is ESPN Insider coverage so I won't be posting the links as some can't read.
For starters, Lupati is being hyped on day 3 and ESPN is saying he is dominating. They started the practices lining him up at tackle, but realized it was a mistake and have since moved him to Guard in the practices. ESPN actually said that Lupati "has no weakness in his game at the guard position". My worry now is that he will go before we get to the second round if he performs well in the Combine. How do you guys feel about Lupati?
Another interesting comment was the quality of the DE and DT positions in this years draft. These 2 positions are being touted as the best this year and happen to be some of our biggest needs. ESPN and Scouts Inc are saying that Derrick Morgan is a ridiculous talent at DE and will go in the Top 5.
I honestly see the front office attempting to trade down if at all possible. With names like McCoy and Berry possibly on the board at #2, there is a chance someone might jump.
Dan Williams is a DT that we could get in the 2nd round and he's a 360 lb monster. He's more in line with what others were saying the lions coaching staff is looking for and is being compare to Haloti Ngata.
If we could trade down in the first round, get Derrick Morgan, get Williams in the 2nd and pick up extra picks or a veteran in trade, I don't see it as a terrible option, I just don't know the odds of us unloading the #2 pick.
I also wouldn't be opposed to picking up Haden if we somehow find a way to trade down. I don't think it's impossible. There are some quality players in the Top 3 that people might lock in on.
What does everyone think?
Jairus Byrd vs Louis Delmas
I was doing a little reading today and saw that Jairus Byrd is a reserve for the Pro Bowl at FS and was brought up for Rookie of the Year etc.
My question is, do you think that Jairus Byrd was, is, or will be better than Louis Delmas, or do you think Delmas is just getting shafted because of the Lions?
Let's look at some stats.
First off, Jairus Byrd.
He came out as a CB but Buffalo is playing him at FS, just FYI. He was drafted 10th in Rd 2. After we selected Delmas.
G 14, GS 11.
45 Tackles
11 PDef
9 Int (this is the important number)
In only 11 starts he recorded 9 Interceptions, tying for top in the league. That is impressive.
Louis Delmas
G 15, GS 15
He was touted as the best safety in the draft and started for us all year. He had a huge impact and will only get better, but at the same time, he didn't get the respect he deserved due to being on the lions. Here are his stats:
94 Tackles
8 PDef
2 Int (1 for a TD)
Also consider the safety and fumble record that Delmas set. That being said, I think Delmas dropped some easy picks this year and could have easily recorded 5 INT if his hands were a little better. Some of them were right in his hands.
It bugs me that Byrd is getting so much recognition because of his 9 INT. Delmas was the more complete player and had more of an impact on his overall team play imo. What do you guys think?
Matthew Stafford's torn jersey and ball from sunday's in Football Hall of Fame
I woke up this morning to check the news and what do I find on NFL.com?
Staffords torn jersey from sunday's game, as well as the ball he threw for the 75 yard TD to calvin, are going to be on display in the pro football hall of fame.
He broke positive records on sunday, something we are not used to in Detroit. We have broken several records in the past year or 2, but mostly for losing.
This is just a great testament to how amazing that game was and also to how well he performed. I couldn't be more excited as I feel this is validation for us and shows that we could be in for something extraordinary in the future with this kid and Calvin.
I didn't want Stafford before the season but, I can honestly say that Drew was right. This kid is an NFL QB and has shown what he is capable of. While he may not be perfect, he's my QB.
(Plus for all those haters, hes now better on the books for the season when compared to Sanchez. Go compare their stats on NFL.com)
Grew is going to be #84, as per the Official Store Jersey
Pat Kirwan Mentions Lions Several Times in his Fascinating Draft Moments
On nfl.com, they have posted a list of Pat Kirwan's most perplexing and fascinating moves of the draft. The lions popped up a couple times. Here is the link for the entire article :
http://www.nfl.com/draft/story?id=09000d5d81005679&template=without-video-with-comments&confirm=true
And here are the excerpts that apply to the lions :
Round 2
The Lions take S Louis Delmas at the top of the second round.
Delmas is a very good player who shined at the Senior Bowl against better competition than he saw at Western Michigan, butJames Laurinaitis and Rey Maualuga were still on the board. It fascinated me that he Lions passed on those players.
Round 7
The Lions draft LB Zack Follett out of California.
I spent time talking with Follett this spring, and it took 10 seconds to realize this guy lives and breathes football. He left college with 245 tackles, 51 tackles for a loss and 23.5 sacks. He had more sacks than most of the premier pass rushers in the draft. I was perplexed he was still available in the seventh round.
Interesting comments about Follett. It seems like a lot of people are pretty high on this guy. The talk of Follett however, does remind me a lot of the discussions we had about Jordon Dizon after last years draft. If he is another Jordon Dizon, at least this time we got him in the 7th round instead of the 2nd.
I am excited for today....
i think if we can pick up duke robinson, terrence taylor, This jasper brinkley guy everyone keeps talking about, and one more CB, that yesterday starts to look a whole lot smarter.
I would not be surprised at all to see us moving up into the 4th round to finish off what I am going to predict is an amazing day. I think we get 3 starters today, we got 3 starters yesterday... that's 6 starters...
A monster of a TE, a monster of a S, a QB that could be better than Cutler, and now possibly a OG that is maybe the best pure OG in the draft, a DT that can clog up the middle when grady has a heart attack, and a starting MLB (which right now is anyone since we don't have one)
I think after today we all look back and think they played their cards just about right.
Especially if Louis Delmas is as good as everything I started reading about him yesterday...
I'm pumped..
Drafting Advice for POD Mock - I have the Falcons.
Hey Everyone,
I picked the Falcons to draft for in the Pride of Detroit mock this year. I am a primary Detroit Lions fan, but after living in Augusta for 5 years and attending Falcons games that entire time, they are my second love when it comes to the NFL.
I see the greatest needs as being DT and OLB, would most of you agree? My problem is that there are several players I like and I can't decide which would be a stronger fit, so I thought I would try and get some help. Here are the players I am considering :
1. Clay Matthews - He is still available but I have seen that several on here don't like him. I believe he is the best and most versatile OLB left, why do you not like him or was that just a minority?
2. Ziggy Hood - He's a beast, I just can't decide if it is a reach and if DT is more of a need than OLB.
3. English and Sintim are both still available and I know that many on these boards like them. I still don't believe however, that they are better than Matthews. Do you like Sintim better than Matthews with both being available? I feel like we lucked out having Matthews fall to 24.
Any advice would be great, thanks!
You guys are killing me....
There has been so much talk lately about taking a TE that it makes me sick. We don't need to draft a TE anywhere before round 6 if at all. TE is not a big need. We picked up a TE in FA to block, that is good enough. The coach has already said he wants to run the ball and stop the run. That is why we keep talking about an OT/OG and D so much.
A couple years ago our offense was ridiculous with Mike Martz and Kitna. There are several reasons why last year was so much worse.
1. Our QB changed every other game. The lack of continuity really effected the WR's and made for extra penalties with the false start syndrome.
2. Roy was having a lackluster season, as was Shaun McDonald and Mike Furrey. This was mostly due to the next 2 points.
3. Our playbook was like a childrens coloring book with 4 pages. It was pathetic. I have never seen a worse set of plays, and since we only had about 7 of them, it wasn't hard to defend.
Let's look at the reason for all of these failures, are you ready for this? This is the real reason our offense was so terrible last year....
Our COACHES were MORONS. That's right folks. Don't underestimate the value of a coaching staff that isn't completely ignorant. Our coaches last year all looked like a bunch of retarded monkeys. They didn't know how to call plays, they made horrible personnel decisions (George Foster, Rudi Johnson, No Drew Stanton, Etc.), and they just generally looked lost the entire season.
Our offense has talent. With Gos starting full time and Kevin Smith improving, Bryant Johnson taking Roys place and allowing CJ to be the hands down #1, and A NEW OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR that was a head coach and has previous success running an offense, our offense can be middle of the road with no other improvements than those we already made in FA (although I would still like to add an OT or a G).
That being said, think about this. Last year we had 0 head coaches on our team. Rod doesn't count because he didn't know what the hell he was doing.
This year? We have 3. I consider Schwartz perfectly capable of being a Head Coach, Linehan was a Head Coach, and Cunningham was a Head Coach. We are LIGHT YEARS ahead of last year in this department. You can't say enough for the difference that coaching experience will have with this team.
On a final note, our defense was terrible last year and cannot be so easily fixed. We have made good, solid moves in free agency, but we have a glaring hole at DT in my opinion. We HAVE to fix this hole to have any chance. This is why I have been such a supporter of Peria Jerry at #20 and Taylor in Rd. 3. We also need to address MLB, CB, maybe FS, as well as add another DE to the mix (although DE isn't as big a need as the others). Suffice it to say that our D is in dire need of major work to even hope of ranking above 30th in the NFL.
Let's stop talking about WR and TE before I go crazy and start acting like FB on here.
Scout.com has Lions Taking Sanchez #1 and Broncos Taking Stafford
I was just looking at a new update on the scout.com mock and they have the lions taking Sanchez over Stafford.
They also had Denver trading their 2 first rounders to KC and moving up to take Stafford at #3.
Other notes : Monroe #2, Smith #4, and Curry #5.
So in other words, at least all of the players who the lions have interest in are in the Top5. That is better than most years.
My real question is, not do YOU want this to happen, but do you think that there is any way the lions are trying to hide their real interest in Sanchez with all the Stafford talk and are really planning on taking Sanchez?
I already know that a lot of you don't want Stafford and that a lot of you want Sanchez, or no QB at all, but I want to know what you think the LIONS are thinking.
Anyone else see this being a surprise pick on draft day? I just don't think that is the case but Scout.com is fairly reputable.
Any thoughts?
Mayhew is amazing.
I was just sitting around reading the daily news as I often do. Reading about Stafford, Cutler, and all of the other nonsense going on.
Well let me first say, for those of you who haven't read anything I've said on here before, I have always been very much opposed to Stafford at any pick, and much in favor of anyone else.
So anyways, I was sitting here, reading about cutler and how a lot of people were speculating that Detroit was the #1 in line for Cutler, and that it would involve the #1 pick more than likely. While I don't necessarily agree with that statement, that is not the point of me writing this.
The point is, I was reading about the situation and I found myself getting very upset. I found myself actually thinking that it wasn't worth trading the #1 for Cutler when we could get Stafford #1 instead. He's got the same arm, hes not a know whiner, and he will have a few extra years for us. Then it hit me, with all the BS Mayhew has been spewing about Staffords amazing workout, I was pleading a case FOR Stafford #1 and getting upset that we might not take him.
And I don't even like the guy.
Mayhew is amazing!
Who are the Top 3 Worst Lions
Let's try and look at this from a different angle. Who are currently the three worst starters in your opinions?
That will give us an indication of our largest areas of need.
Right now, I say that our 3 worst starters are :
1. Jordan Dizon, MLB (Although we haven't really seen him play)
2. Chuck Darby, DT (He just sucks)
3. Peterman, RG (Where is loper playing? He's taking mulitalo's spot right/?) I don't care if they re-signed peterman, he's a backup.
So in essence, I would want MLB, DT, RG, so Curry, Jerry, Unger.
Anyone else?
Pride of Detroit
I just wanted to take a post off from all of the draft talk and say thanks to everyone who has been posting regularly on the site. We have had a lot of really good debates and discussions lately about the lions and even though we don't have a say in the draft, it sure is fun to talk about.
Those that i'm talking about, you know who you are. Thanks for keeping it interesting and never hostile. We have a great community here and it's nice to know that we'll all be around, even when we are 0-16 haha. What other team can say that? None, actually!

Stafford has a Good Pro Day...
This is good news for the Lions. If we can make people believe that Stafford is our choice, I think we just improved our chances of moving out of the #1 spot. Which I think it is safe to say, almost everyone in the Pride is in favor of.
This draft is so deep in the 2nd and 3rd rounds that I think if there is even a hint that we could get an extra 3rd rounder in this, I am all for it. My real question is,
Who might want to trade up to #1 for Stafford?
The 49ers need a QB but they are at #10. I don't know if there is another team in the top 10 that wants a QB that bad, and 49ers may be content to wait and take sanchez.
Any ideas?
Schwartz comment about Stanton, everyone seems to have missed
Earlier a couple websites posted an interview with Schwartz. It's the one referenced all over wednesdays notes. But some of us seem to have focused on the wrong parts. Coach made a comment about Drew Stanton that I think is interesting. When asked about the quarterbacks , this is what he said :
Schwartz said he's also interested in seeing his three veteran quarterbacks to see where they stand.
"In the spring, when we start the first minicamp and the first OTAs, I'll sort of let that determine some of that,'' he said. "We need to see where Drew Stanton is. We need to see Drew Henson. We need to see Daunte (Culpepper). We need those guys to throw. The early part of the off-season program, the first minicamp, the first OTA days may have something to do with that and our comfort level with those guys.''
The comments about Henson and Peppy seem like afterthoughts, but the first comment, that he "needs to see where Drew Stanton is" says that maybe the coaches haven't simply written off stanton as a bust and maybe he will finally get his chance to show us what he's got. What do you guys think?
Article About Anthony Henry going from pissed to excited after meeting Schwartz
http://www.freep.com/article/20090305/BLOG21/90305052/1049/rss14
Caught that article on the news feed at the bottom of POD.
Basically I think Henry was a bit pissed off when he found out they traded him to Detroit because let's face it, who wants to goto an 0-16 team.
He says that after he sat down with Schwartz and Cunningham he is actually feeling much better about the trade.
This seems like a great sign for the lions. If the coaches can make a disgruntled player feel good about being traded from a super bowl contender (dallas should have been) to an 0-16 team, then they at least talk a good game.
What do you guys think?
Nate Washington Signed with Titans & Housh to Seahawks
As per nfl.com, the titans have signed WR Nate Washington to an undisclosed deal. That is kind of dissapointing as I was still hoping we might find a way to sign him. Hes a decent young receiver.
With Washington gone, do you think it will make us focus more intently on another WR? Is anyone else sad to see us lose out on another FA that originally it seemed like we had a large interest in?
It just seems like every FA we set our sights on gets pulled away to another more successful team. I don't blame Washington. If I had the option to goto an 0-16 team, or the team with the best record the previous year, it would be a no brainer.
here is the link
http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/03/02/titans-sign-wr-washington-dt-haye/
Also, NFL.com is reporting Housh signed with the seahawks, just saw this one so i thought i would update.. .
http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/03/02/houshmandzadeh-lands-with-seahawks/
We should test the market for Thigpen.
If cassel and vrabel are worth a 2nd rounder, then thigpen cant be worth more than say a 4th rounder, and he looked pretty good playing for a team that I would say was worse than detroit last year. We have better receivers than KC and I doubt the new administration has any ties to Thigpen.
What do you guys think? He could challenge Peppy for the starting job for sure.
I think the cassel trade sucks. I would have given up a second round pick for Cassel and Vrabel in a heartbeat if I were the lions. They basically just hooked up Pioli cause they could.
2009 Lions FA Madden Ratings
So I thought it would be fun to look at the Madden 2009 ratings for our FA pickups and losses. Here we go..
Signed Players :
-
- Maurice Morris - 80
- Bryant Johnson - 82
- Anthony Henry - 88
- Eric King - 71
- Maurice Morris - 80
Lost Players :
-
- Jon Kitna (Traded) - 84
- Mike Furrey (Released) - 84
- Shaun Mcdonald (FA) - 87
- Leigh Bodden (Released) - 90
- Brian Kelly (Cut last year) - 83
- Jon Kitna (Traded) - 84
Players mentioned on POD :
-
- Dre Bly - 89
- Chris Carr - 71
- Nate Washington - 77
- Bryant McFadden - 84
- Mark Clayton - 78
- Dre Bly - 89
So there you have it. Does it mean anything? No. Is it fun to look at? I think so...
Bly, Freeman, and Jason Smith - Thoughts
Dre Bly
I was just thinking about our situation with the defense and losing bodden and kelly. Do you think there is any chance the Lions try to bring back Dre Bly? I don't have links to the quotes but the coaches were cited on several occasions saying they thought the Dre Bly trade was a mistake. Does anyone think they might try to bring him in as a solid veteran presence and draft a young player like Vontae Davis?
Josh Freeman
There has been a lot of talk about Freeman since the combine started. Everyone is comparing him to Joe Flacco and his draft stock seems to be rising. Most assume he will be the 3rd QB taken in the draft. Do you think he would be a good fit for the Lions new direction? Has anyone watched a lot of tape on this guy that can provide input? I think he would be worth looking at if he is still available at the 2.1 pick, but I think 1.20 is a bit of a reach with the quality of players that will still be around on the defensive side at this point.
Jason Smith
I am going to be the first to say that I think taking Jason Smith #1 overall would be a mistake. I don't think he is the best tackle in this draft, I don't think he would be the best fit for our new style, and I pray that we don't take him #1 overall. Andre Smith and Michael Oher were once touted as sure things at OT and are now in a downward spiral and I think that is the only reason Jason Smith is even being talked about, not because he is the most skilled. He is not worth a #1 pick. This will probably catapult Curry to the top of most rankings.
Any thoughts?
Adam Schefter Answers a couple Lions Questions
In his around the league with Adam Shefter Q&A, he was thrown a couple questions about the lions today. Here are the questions and answers :
Q.Hey Adam, I'm a big fan of Around the League! A lot of people are saying Detroit should take Matt Stafford with the #1 pick. Do you think that is a good idea or should they stick with Dan Orlovsky and go for a much needed lineman, offensive or defensive? Thanks
A. Eric: You can't look at it as the No. 1 pick. You have to look at it as the combination of picks. Are the Lions better off going with Stafford at 1 and then a DE or OT at the top of round two? Or are they better going with Alabama OT Andre Smith, then a QB on the opening pick of round two. I think people make the mistake sometimes of thinking just one pick. You have to think combination picks. And I think the better value might just be Smith early, QB later. But it's early -- a lot will change between now and Apri.
Q. Will Ernie Sims be traded since he will be too small for the Lions new defensive scheme?
A. Jeff: Detroit has three untouchable players: wide receiver Calvin Johnson, pass rusher Cliff Avril and Sims. None of those guys is going anywhere. Jim Schwartz needs some building blocks and those are his three best ones. But outside of those players, anyone else is in play. Just make an offer.
Which year was Millen's Worst Draft?
Just thought i'd toss this out there and see what the consensus was. Of all his years as GM of the Detroit Lions, which year did we do the wrost job in the draft and which year was the best? I know its a tough one to call because most of them were so horrible, but take a look back and lets see what you think.
I am going to say that 05 was the worst year.
Mike Williams never should have been picked. We were set at receiver and we passed up on DeMarcus ware AND Shawn Merriman who both would have made huge improvements.
Best year was probably 06 in my mind. Both Ernie Sims and Daniel Bullocks are showing that they were worth picking up. Of the 06 draft, I think Ernie Sims might be the best if not tied for the best defensive player taken in the first round.
What do you guys think?
Drew Stanton Scouting Report from 2007
Just thought it was an interesting read with all of us trying to determine who we thought should be the starter.
http://www.fftoolbox.com/nfl_draft/profile_display.cfm?Prospect_ID=810
2007 NFL Draft Prospect Scouting Report:
Drew Stanton, QB, Michigan St.
This guy has a ton of potential. He has a good chance to make a much bigger impact in the NFL than he did at the college level. Granted, Stanton was by no means a disappointment at Michigan State, but the Spartans consistently underachieved the past few seasons. Stanton has adequate size and a good arm, but his greatest asset is his mobility and escape ability. Not only can he avoid the rush with his feet, but Stanton's pinpoint accuracy does not fail him even when he's on the run. He possesses all the essential intangibles, too, as he almost always makes good decisions with the football and is a natural-born leader. Stanton's main issues are inconsistency, durability, and mentality. When things get rough, Stanton often gets too hard on himself and lets the situation spiral out of control (see last season's loss to Notre Dame). He's also been injured on several occasions, which perhaps contributed to his inconsistency. Still, these are things that can easily disappear from Stanton's scouting report. His strengths, however, will certainly stay with him for a long time. Because of that, Stanton should be no worse than a third-round selection.
Couple Thoughts on Drafts and Depth Chart
Did anyone notice that they changed the Detroitllions.com picture to Corry Redding (It had been Roy for a while now)? Is he supposed to be the new face of the lions? I hope not.
The depth chart shows Shaun McDonald as our #2 receiver now. How long do you think that will last? Personally I think Mike Furrey is a more dependable receiver.
Possible draft picks for our first rounders.
I would like to see Detroit find a way to draft Andre Smith from Alabama (OT) and Malcolm Jenkins from Ohio State (even though I hate them). If they could find a way to trade around and pick them both up in the first round I would be ecstatic.
What do you guys think?
Roy Williams Quotes
This was taken from part of a post on the Dallas Cowboys blog on SBNation. Bold italic notes added by me...
***Edited to add the link to the original post
http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2008/10/14/635245/cowboys-and-roy-williams-h
And Nick Eatman has a nice article here. Jerry says he's coveted Roy for years.
"We've been trying to trade for Roy Williams for two years," Jones said. "Two straight drafts, I tried to make a trade with Detroit and couldn't get it done. At the league owners meetings (last year), I tried to talk to Detroit about trading for him. He's certainly someone we've pursued the last few years."
So obviously Matt Millen is an idiot and should have taken advantage of this option as soon as he knew he could get Calvin Johnson.
And you think Roy is excited?
"I'm more happy to be a Dallas Cowboy than when I got my first bike," Williams said. "To go from 0-5 to 4-2, you can't get any better than that."
Thanks a lot Roy, you leave us and then mock us... we do suck though.. i'd be happy too...
For anybody thinking this might be a problem with T.O., at least this early in the transaction, can put that to rest.
Not only did Jerry Jones say that Terrell Owens was "ecstatic" to find out the news, but apparently T.O. was the first to call Roy Williams and congratulate him on the trade.
Yeah, let's see how long that lasts. One of them isn't going to get a whole lot of catches and then the attitudes and BS will start rollin...
And Roy seems to know the deal.
"He's the No. 1 guy. I'll be the No. 2 or No. 3 and wherever I fit in. Defenses won't know what to do."
See statement above.. it won't last forever.. what happens when they don't make the playoffs or lose in the first round?
Seems like everyone is happy with the deal for the time being...only time will tell if it was worth it. Lets see who we get with the 1st and 3rd rounders.
Jay Leno Detroit Lions Joke on Monday Night
How sad is this? I was watching Jay leno tonight and he actually made a joke about the Detroit Lions. Here is what he said.
"It was found out today that several members of the Dallas Cowboys were illegally registered to vote in Nevada. In related news, it was also found that the Detroit Lions were illegally registered to play professional football in the state of Michigan. "
It's bad when even Jay Leno is crackin jokes on us. At least we made primetime.
