Bert Reed Article/Legal Issues for Players
Nice article on Bert Reed. I think he has played big for us this year and I really look forward to his play as he gets more experience and more maturity. Good for you for getting things back on track, Bert!
As for FSU as a whole, I think that although this year has been a disappointment from a football standpoint, our players seem to be getting in less trouble and seem to be on the right path. I know most of the trouble comes in the off-season, but I am hopeful that one of the positives for this year will be that our guys keep themselves and the program out of the legal spotlight. I hope we can keep up the trend. Does anyone else think this is a positive trend? Is it a reflection of the current probation? How about Jimbo's influence?
Arrogant Tebow
I love this quote about Tebow and love the confidence in Ponder. Unfortunately, I think his prediction is just too far fetched.
Coaching we need? Or need to avoid?

Here is an article on Urban Meyer from Gator Country. Sometimes I like to see what they are saying over there. Personally, I don't think much of Urban Meyer. I acknowledge that I don't know him and maybe if I could have a beer with him and talk football, I would think differently. However, since I don't like the Gators and Meyer comes across as extremely arrogant, I have decided that I don't like him either. But, I have to admit that when I read this article I think about whether I would want to have a coach on the Seminoles' sideline like Meyer, Carroll, or Kiffen? After all, with the exit of Zook and where their program was when he left, the Gators could have slipped to a mid-pack team very quickly (although Meyer did win with Zook's recruits). So, with that said, here is my question: What do you all think of this coaching style and attitude? It seems to be pervasive at the top programs and it seems that because of the publicity these showboat/media-hound coaches gather, the top-level talent goes with them. Just trying to stir-up some thought and as a sidenote, this is nothing against Coach Fisher. Believe me, I am more than happy to have him manning the guns.
