Full (really obvious) disclosure: I'm a Jets fan.

Before you bumrush me out of here, I'd like to make a small, totally non-malicious proposal. I run a blog called the Jets Kvetch, which in addition to serving as your typical team specific news/reaction site, also seeks to praise and empower the most important element of any team: its fans. I know the Dolphins have an extremely passionate, loyal fanbase, and thus I'd like to give one of you the opportunity to write a guest post for my site this week.

The topic? What the Jets rivalry means to you, and why you hate (or what you hate most about) the "Jest." I won't set any guidelines, and you're free to swear and include pictures and/or video. If you want to photoshop a picture of Brandon Marshall violating Darrelle Revis, you're free to do so. If you want to be polite yet forceful, your call as well. It's 100% up to you. I'm sure some of my readers won't like this, but I think it'll be a fun experiment.

To submit something, just email it to me at max@jetskvetch.com. I promise I won't say anything negative, and, if you like, I can even switch comments off on your post. If I get multiple submissions, I may choose to run all of them, or just the best one.

If you guys would rather just flame me off the site, that's cool too. I figured I'd try my luck.

Here's a little video I put together using a modified version of the classic 1991 NES game Tecmo Bowl to simulate the Jets 2010 season. What you are watching is the computer playing itself.

(P.S. - Yeah, I know the Jets only beat the Colts in the conf. title game because Tecmo isn't programmed to take a knee. And, yeah, Brunell, Taylor and Slauson are missing from the roster. What, wanna fight about it?)

Hey guys!

For those of you who weren't aware, I operate a Jets blog over at www.jetskvetch.com. Keeping my site going these past few months has been an absolute joy, but I thought it was time to branch out a bit and try something new. Therefore, I am today proud to announce the beginning of the Jets Kvetch: Cathode Tube Edition, my super awesome video news program. It's still a work in progress, to be sure, and I recognize that my voice is somewhat, uh, lacking in terms of suitability for narration, but I think the first version turned out as well as I could have expected.

This required a TON of work to put together, so I don't know how often I'll be doing these, but let me know what you think. If there's a high degree of support, I may just have to put in some more manhours.
