This was on deadspin.com and was pertaining to an affair this girl allegedly had with Jose Reyes. Well, halfway through it explains she has a thing for baseball players, especially one Gary Mathews Jr., who's first name she has tattooed on her lip. I just found this to be hilarious.

That's her blog site, and if you're into baseball analysis that is written in a language that kind of resembles English, take a look(at one point, she writes that someone made her feel "unbeautiful"). Oh, she also thinks Torii is "HOT"...Bentley, stay away from him please.

Alright...so I had too much time at work earlier today, and I started searching for Angels stuff that was interesting. I didn't get too much Halos Heaven fodder, BUT....the next two links are to Myspace pages of Angels players that I think are real("real" meaning they have/had to do with the player in question).

The Black Magic one is obviously him but it's obviously OLD.

Napoli though...looks like whoever's doing the upkeep is doing a good job.

As far as the Kotchman/Teixeira trade is concerned, I think most fans were sad to see Casey go, but were also ready to welcome Teixeira with open arms. The guy(Tex) is a stud with the stick, has a great glove and has already showed more plate discipline than our entire team combined(he already has 7 walks!!!). Like HalosHeaven patron Vlad IS my man pointed out in a post from last week, the guy is an on base machine. That post couldn't of been more aptly titled. As far as his power, he had a great grand slam on Sunday, and was 4 feet from another homer on Monday. On the field, he's been digging out balls, made one awesome play(Monday), and aside from that error the same night, he's been as good as advertised. I guess what i'm getting at, is I like him on this team. He may be a rental, but it was a move that will pay off, I believe.

So what's the point? Well, on June 19 I made a fan post that.....well, i'll just let you guys read it to refresh your memories. Be prepared....this made me feel kind of dumb as it may others:

This guy cracks me up. It's pretty obvious to even a casual baseball fan that the Angels, while having a solid roster, could use a big bat to push them over to proverbial hump (Bawston). I said "could use" because while it's not a bad idea to have an extra 30+ HR's, I personally think we can get to the series with the team we have right now, barring injuries and some players slumping.

Here's the main offender for me in this article:

"Their first baseman, Casey Kotchman, is statistically comparable to Teixeira this season, and just as strong a defender. But Kotchman, who has hit only one homer since April 23, is not the same type of impact player as Teixeira -- and lest anyone forget, Angels owner Arte Moreno likes his stars.

If the opportunity arose, the Angels could include Kotchman in a Teixeira deal, or send him to another club in a separate trade. If Teixeira then departed as a free agent, the team could collect two draft picks and install Kendry Morales at first base next season."

Statistically comparable and just as strong as a defender. To me, that's pretty much where the argument should end. I am no fan of Rosenthal, so maybe that and my love of Kotchman is coming into play, but are there any fans that think that a move like that would be anything other than stupid?

Dude, this movie has taken sooooo long to finish. I remember reading casting decisions about three years ago. Shane West as Darby Crash?!?! Whatever. Anyway, it's been out and about, hitting the film festival circuit. I caught it at the Newport Beach Film Festival weeks ago, and it's not all that bad. Not all that great either, but if you're down with Panther lore, go see it. Oh, and one of my favorite LA bands, The Bronx(stupid name, I know), plays Black Flag. It's also kinda cool to see people from The Decline era in big screen adaptations.

This site had me laughing pretty hard. Basically just shows some horrid baseball cards, as the blog's name implies. But the "Errors" part the guy writes is awesome, not to mention the polls he puts up(Most recent winner for Least Effective Third Base Coach Chatter: "Let's go now. No pregnancies. C'mon"). Be sure to check out past months...some old Angels show up(Including Frank Tanana when he was with the Tigers). Hilarious.

Sorry if this has been brought up before.
