I have written posts before about how Gottlieb and Parrish love reminding us that SU games at MSG are in fact home games and therefore don't count. I have also written diatribes while stroking out over how Dana O'Neil wasn't sold on the team's talent because we didn't play a true road game until NC State, and for whatever reason if we were to win (we did) that wouldn't really count either. Ron Morris. Davis says we're a violent fan base. Georgetown won't sell us tickets. The overall sentiment within the Big East is that we are traitors.

Hey everyone,

So like you, I am anxiously awaiting fab melo's return to the hardwood for the orange.

In the case that he returns*, I was thinking that i would make a fun sign welcoming him back to bring with me to the St.Johns game at MSG. Instead of being witty on my own, i decided to do the most logical thing and outsource the wit.

So go at it and gimme some ideas the winner may/or may not make it on to tv on Saturday.

*I know this is preemptive, but I still thought it would be fun. Also I guess we could come up with signs in case he does not dress up for the garden.

Maybe I've been in a hole the past few months, but I just realized Villanova is 7-7 with losses to Santa Clara and St. Joe's among others. What the hell happened? I mean, a down year is one thing, but 7-7 just two games into conference play? What the hell am I going to do with my "Beat 'Nova" shirt from 2 years ago? It seems pointless now. Can someone explain? I'm confused. Even worse, I don't hate them and now just feel bad for them.

I no longer know who I am and I feel like the ghost of a total stranger.

Hey fellow cuse fans!

I am about to start building my Syracuse Mancave and have been trying to figure out what it needs.  I have a lot of ideas (basketball wooden floor with a big S on it, custom syracuse recliners, a bar, etc.) however figured it would be a good idea to throw this to the nunesmagician crowd and see what you fine well-educated people could come up with. 

So have a go at at!  Please post pics and links if possible.

The only guidance so far is that I would like to make it look less like the first floor of a frat house and more like the melo center.

Okay,  so i can't imagine I am the only one chomping at the bit to see the basketball schedule so i can start booking flights and rooms at the sheraton.  The acc announced yesterday.  does that mean I can look forward to seeing the schedule any day now???

Also, wtf is up with the Jimmy V website.  Absolutely zero info on ticket on-sale dates and prices.  Actually the website still has the 2009 info posted.  Slackers.

Again, I know I am b*tching like a schoolgirl, but the suspense is killing me. My life without Jim B is just incomplete.

And yes, I already have my room and tix for the legends classic.  Obviously.

So, I saw the press release and the information that tickets would be available for the BET at 8:30 Monday morning.  Sounded too good to be true, so I called them.  And sure enough, they confirmed that they would have tickets available to the general public at 8:30am monday morning.  They also assured me I could just call and while I could come by the box office it would not be necessary.  Obviously, I took all precautions and woke up at 5am this morning to go to St. Johns (I only live a half hour away).  So I get there, and am first on line.  Serendipity!  Others show up after me, but damn them, I am FIRST.  The box office opens right on time.  I go up, excited as hell that I will get to spend all week at MSG wearing a healthy rotation of orange jerseys ranging from Douglas to Devendorf. 'SOLD OUT' the lady at the box office says.  "But I called Friday and they confirmed that there would be tickets on sale this morning" I pleased.  'Sorry, we're SOLD OUT'.  "But there was a press release, it was in the paper.  Not to mention I called to confirm."  'Sorry, try StubHub.'  That was just the ultimate F-U.  I decided that rather than staging a riot I would opt to leave and keep my clean criminal record.

ST. JOHNS, I HATE YOU WITH EVERY INCH OF MY BEING.  DIE OF GONORRHEA AND GO TO HELL!!!!!!!!

I live in NYC.  My damn girlfriend is making me go to albany for her sister's birthday, on the 27th... (UGH)  I was going to mandate a 'Cuse trip, hit up the game, then go to Albany for this birthday party. however thanks to ESPN Gameday and the 7pm tip, Its logistically impossible.   I need to find a bar with serious cuse fans (who won't refrain from likening scotty reynolds to a 12 yr old girl), a good tv setup (gamesound if possible) and plenty of booze.
