The SunTimes is reporting that Mark Cuban is currently in town and meeting with the Tribune Co. today about the purcahse of the Cubs.

As you read this, Mark Cuban will be in Chicago, doing his thing one more time for the purchase. People may have thought the brash and eager Cuban was out of the running, but that's not so.

Kenney isn't discussing particulars -- in a sense he is participating in his own potential demise -- but Cuban is the guy who understands what the Cubs are truly worth.

Previous reports saying he was out, were obviously premature. I'm glad to hear he's still in the running.

MLB Fails To Deliver NLDS Postseason Passwords

Anyone else effected by the MLB failing to deliver the post season passwords? I got the email last night saying I won, and a password would be delivered today.

Yet I'm sitting here constantly checking my email, and I have yet to see a password and tickets for the Cubs went on sale 3 minutes ago.

I contacted both the MLB and Cubs ticketing offices. Cubs were no help, and the MLB is going to 'call me back' as they say it's a 'nationwide' problem.

I have a password entry page open, but no password to enter. Thanks a lot MLB!

I recorded from the radio, shared for all of Cubdom. Rumor is that he'll be pressing 100 copies of the song, and probably allowing free digital distribution for the rest of Cubs fans. Until then radio rips will have to do.

Sorry the end of the crowd cheering is missing, I stopped recording the stream too soon as the stream was behind the live radio feed. If I can I'll get another recording of it I'll post it.

Fukudome Close To Losing All-Star Spot

According to an article posted by MLB.com today, Fukudome is holding his spot with a lead of only 33,000 votes. So anyone who hasn't voted to your max number yet, you have two days to help Fukudome hold the lead!

I haven't seen this yet here today, so I apologize if it's a repeat.

My friend says AM 1000 is reporting that Will Ohman is going to the Braves in exchange for a right handed pitcher. He's 22 and throws in the mid-90s.

Not sure of who exactly, my guess based on age is Jose Ascanio.
