What the starting lineup should really look like

okay, just admit it. we're not going to the playoffs this year. so that means it's a rebuilding year. and if this is true, why not develop your young guys as much as you can? with this in mind, i suggest a new starting lineup.

Center: Biedrins, he looks like a veteran center, but keep in mind he's younger than monta ellis, keep starting him at center, besides we really don't have anyone else anyways.

Power Forward: Wright. this guy has potential, and after all, he was our first round draft pick from last year. he hasn't really gotten a chance to prove himself so play him more and see if he's the real deal or a bust.

Small Forwad: Randolph. he makes rookie mistakes, but he makes some spectacular plays also. that dunk on yao is my favorite play so far this season (followed closely by maco's behind the backboard shot) he hustles a lot and it's better to get him ready for next year instead of playing azibukie, it's kind of a no-brainer for me.

Shooting Guard: Bellinelli. he didn't get much of a chance last year and when he did, he came in for 2 minutes and only got like 1 shot off. but now that he IS playing, he's playing well. good defense, hustle, and he makes his shots unlike jackson. he can run point better than post of these guys anyways.

Point Guard: Crawford. he's had some horrendous shooting nights also, but you can't leave that team on the floor without a little leadership. so crawford can be the "veteran" player who can do the ball handling. but i would love to see watson get a lot of minutes and of couse, i would rather have monta start when he returns

What you guys think?

Nelson Must Leave

Is it just me, or is there always one quarter where we give the other team all the momentum and let them go on a 20-something run? and i mean ALWAYS. and it happens particulary in the 3rd quarter. why? because the opposing teams adjust to us. They change the way they played in the first half and make themselves better. On the other hand, we don't change anything. We stay the way we are. We always start out sloppy, no matter which lineup we put out there. This is because of Don Nelson. Don Nelson has now stabbed Mullin in the back and put in his own man at the assistant general manager position. Don Nelson has also put small lineup after small lineup against teams where we need to go big. I'm sick of this losing streak,  I'm sick of the experiments and I'm really sick of Nelson. Who agrees he needs to leave?

Zach Randolph to the Clippers

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AvJcJAlwJ0mVpHYZlFM3kY05nYcB?slug=aw-randolphclippers112108&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

there's your link.

apparently just hours after harrington is shipped to new york for jamal crawford,

most likely for cap space reasons, the knicks trade their second leading scorer i'm assuming in zach randolph for cuttino mobley and tim thomas. another interesting trade by the knicks. obviously this all trying to get cap space to land lebron in 2010. but wouldn't you think lebron would be more appealed in coming to the knicks if they actually had some good players waiting to play with him when he got there? LOL

what do you guys think?

Okafor Reaches 6 Year Deal With The Bobcats...

a lot of you guys were talking about how we might wanna get okafor. well, it doesn't look like that's happening now. According to ESPN, Okafor has reached a 6 year, $72 Million deal. That's crazy. More than Monta and Biedrins. I know he's a Double Double guy, but come on. lol what you guys think about this?

here's some links

Oklahoma City Team Name Announced...

According to ESPNEWS, The team previously known as the Seattle Supersonics will now be referred to as The Oklahoma City Thunder. Now the Dubs have a lightning bolt as part of their logo and i know thunder and lightning aren't the same thing but they are both used in the same context. i think it's pretty stupid, i mean come on Our Mascot Is Named Thunder. We were here first. choose something original. or something that doesnt have anything else to do with other NBA teams. Cyclones, Hurricanes. Sorry OKC, i dont think its cool that u chose thunder we already have the mascot and the lightning bolt on the back of our jerseys to go with it. wat u guys think? maybe overreacting a little, but what the hell are they gonna use to symbolize thunder? obviously its gonna have something to do with lightning like ours. Biters...

Is Monta The Point Guard?

We have a couple of options now.  We could get one of the weak point guards on the Free Agent market, and leave monta at shooting guard.

We could get a trade to happen for Felton or Hinrich and give up Harrington.

If we do one of these,

PG/Ellis/Maggette/Jackson/Biedrins

we have to put an undersized jackson at the power forward....

or we make monta the point guard and have maggette come to shooting guard and let brandan wright, or a free agent play the power forward...

but which one of these things do we do?
