The situation stands as so:

The Caps need 21 points in their last 14 games to clinch the SE division (or FLA loses a bunch of times you get the point)

The Caps need only 17 points total if they beat FLA in their two remaining games against each other.

Obviously this is completely and awesomely hypothetical but....

How would each team play the last game of the season if:

-If the caps are able to clinch the division before the game?
-If the division was on the line?
-but the matchup would still be the panthers/caps in the playoffs?

Just some questions but the last game could be a snoozer or playoff round 1 game 1/2.
