No, we aren't barbers and ours isn't a baseball blog ... but, many of our "lead stories" are baseball related and we do have three baseball related topical features. Sort of like having slept at a Holiday Inn Express, only different.

"Baseball's Magic Moments" is a repository for our baseball related anecdotes, memories and magic moments ... yours and mine. Everyone has them ... those that go unshared will someday be lost and gone forever. We hope we can all share, preserve and enjoy them together.

"Issues Facing Baseball" - When God created baseball and saw that it was good, it was the game and not the business at which he was looking, methinks! Let's identify and discuss the many issues now facing the grand old game ... we may generally agree but with 30 teams, 27 locations and millions of fans, just at the major league level, there are many, many different perspectives and sharing them should be enlightening and help us each to broaden our own.

"Thoughts From Centerfield" - provides up-to-date baseball information and musings, relating primarily to the Atlanta Braves, from one of our resident fanatics. The scope of "Centerfield" will be broadened as our audience increases and includes musing fanatics supporting other teams.

We are mostly about sharing ... life experiences, humor, tall tales, photos and recipes ... and about discussing ... politics, religion, and current affairs ... really, just about anything interesting or imaginable, including baseball.

We're about remembering ... our "Gone - Not Forgotten" Feature remembers those who are no longer with us ... currently featuring George Kell and others who passed on in March, including Arthur Richman, Herman Franks and Whitey Lockman.

We are about friends too ... spending time and having fun with them ... and making new ones! Unfettered by advertising, belligerence or hard language ... opinions and beliefs respected ... characters with character preferred, that's us!
