A.J Price to Europe?

There is a rumor circulating in the Israeli media that Euroleague powerhouse Macabbi Tel Aviv is trying to bring Price over for the next season. Has anyone heard of this? Can Mike perhaps check that with Price/Wizards management?

I do not know how to contact Ted Leonsis, so I'll make my plea here and hope someone will deliver him the message.

I've been a fan since 2001, and honestly, Wittman is the first coach since then that I really liked. I've seen all the Wizards teams the last decade - all the great scoring, the playoff games, the gun incidents and the losing. In all those teams, even the Arenas team that were winning, something was amiss. Players weren't serious, weren't professional, didn't give a crap and above all refused to play defense and to play with heart.

With Randy Wittman, I can see or rather feel, that the team is really trying. The players really play hard and we all can see the effort. Yes, the record sucks. Yes, We can't make an open jump shot if our lives depended on it. But it is all due to the lack of talent and the poor roster construction. As cuppettcj thoroughly explained, the team is well COACHED, it's just that the players keep missing the open shots they create. The defense is very good (although not very pretty) - The first time a DC team is playing good and tough defense.

Before I lose my point, I want to sum up. In my opinion, Randy Wittman is a good coach, and seems to be a very good person. He is an honest coach, one who does not try to sugar coat problems. I think the players play hard for him, they are serious and committed - but unfortunately not very talented. For god's sake, we actually play defense for a change.

So please Ted, Keep the only Wizards coach I liked in the entire time I have been a fan. Will somebody deliver him the message?

I don't know if it has been suggested before, but I wish we could ensure that the head coach or at least one of his staff reads some of the ideas thrown around in this community. In my opinion, every now and then, a member comes up with some really beneficial stuff. True, we are sports fans (=highly emotional, border line crazy people) and we all can sometimes get over excited, but we all have 'above basic' understanding in basketball. buklaushomey's post made me think "I would really like to see that Booker thing for a few tries".

I guess it's more relevant to Mike, but if anyone can arrange that a member of the organization hears some of those ideas it would be great. We could even simplify it by voting on the best ideas and submit them weekly/monthly to one of the assistant coaches or representative.

What do players do training wise this summer?

Now, that almost all the big free agency move are done, I wish to get a better idea of what are players are doing to improve this summer. We hear all the time, in twitter, in interviews that player X works out. I'd like to know how they work out (which drills, what aspects, how much time a day, with who etc.). If anyone knows or has a way to ask a player or a trainer of the team, please inform us.
