MCM Play of the Week (Week 3) (Delayed)
Sorry for the delay. I had some technical difficulties. Hopefully this gets you pumped up for the Brown's game, though.
It's a good thing when we have this many videos to vote on!

Sorry for the delay. I had some technical difficulties. Hopefully this gets you pumped up for the Brown's game, though.
Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

MCM Play of the Week (Week 1)
Well, that didn't go as planned. Looks like it could be a long season. Maybe that means we'll get to see a little bit of Locker in the future highlights.

MCM Play of the Week (Preseason, Week 4)
Sad news today. Justin Gage will no longer be featured on MCM Play of the Week, unless, of course, a team decides that they want him (eww) and our defense makes a play off of one of his dropped balls. Wipe your tears and cheer up by going and voting for your favorite play this week.

A couple additional preseason notes: With one preseason game remaining tonight (Oak-Sea), the Titans are 1st in the NFL scoring defense (10.5 points per game allowed) & 2nd in turnover differential (+9). Also, Jake Locker led all NFL rookie QBs in both preseason completion percentage (65.3) and passer rating (88.5).

MCM Play of the Week (Training Camp)
It's that time of the year again! (and a good time to get away from all of this Finny crap) There's not really anything of substance this week- I just felt like getting back into the routine of doing these every week. I did put a few clips together from the video of the LP Field practice from Titansonline, so enjoy.
Also, if you have any suggestions about POTW, just let me know in the comment section.

OtF Goal of the Series (Round 1)
Now that was fun. Don't jump on me too much if I didn't inlclude your favorite goal. There were 22 to choose from, after all. Speaking of 22, I'm sure you'll see a lot of him in this contest. Hopefully there will be 3 more of these before the season ends.

Awesome.
Fruit Cup likes it when you scream.
Just a friendly reminder to those attending the game tonight: You better not leave with a voice.
Home, sweet home.
I just had to promote this to the center column. Great shot! - Dirk

Oh, and I heart Kevin.
OtF Goal of the Week (3/27-4/2)
So here's the bad news: In all 3 games this week, the Predators went into the 3rd period with the lead and only managed 1 win (and they came pretty close to having 0). Also, the losses came against some teams that we might play in the playoffs. Here's the good news: We got half the points that were available and it looks like we've all but secured a playoff spot. And if you want a little more silver lining to this roller coaster week, isn't this the time of year that we want to have these kind of losses?

OtF Goal of the Week (3/20-3/26)
Long time, no post! I've been busy with work and went on a long cruise for spring break, so it's been quite an effort just to keep up with the Preds alone. It was getting harder and harder to do these posts when I last did one because the Predators were going through a slump, but it's much easier to do today! This past week, we scored 15 16 (addition fail) goals! I couldn't let some of these beauties miss the contest, so I'm going to put in 5 to vote on instead of 3. Will our hometown hero make the contest?

- Coach Trotz said Ryan Suter will miss tomorrow's game at Columbus, but he was encouraged by Suter's health today and expects him back later in the week, perhaps as early as Thursday night's game against Chicago.
- Defensensive pairings in practice were: Weber-Klein; Franson-O'Brien; Sulzer-Belak ... Coach Trotz indicated that pairings will rotate throughout the game as situations warrant. "Everybody will probably play with everybody," Trotz said. He also said the team will make a recall from the Milwaukee in time for tomorrow night's game, noting the Milwaukee coaches have been impressed with the steady play from Jon Blum and Teemu Laakso and the dynamic offensive skill shown by Roman Josi.
- Coach Trotz said Mark Dekanich was recalled because goaltender Anders Lindback is under the weather. He said Lindback spent most of last night's game in the training room getting fluids. Lindback will likely miss tomorrow night's game, but depending on how quickly the bug passes his system, the coaches didn't seem concerned about any long-term effects.
Some important notes from the Preds Practice Update on the Official Predators Website.
OtF Save of the Week (2/13-2/19)
Again, thanks to Great Paperclip for the new graphics.
As we wait to see who will be replacing Ryan Suter for the next few games, here's your weekly Rinne-man-crush segment(or just crush for the female readers). He's moving closer and closer to Tim Thomas in Save% and GAA, so that means he he's made some saves he shouldn't have. Which one was his best last week?

OtF Goal of the Week (2/13-2/19)
Special thanks to Great Paperclip for the new graphic!
The Predators ended the week on a somber note, but still came out of the storm with 3 points. Considering the quality of opponents, I guess that's not too bad. There wasn't too much scoring to choose from but, we did have some timely and exciting goals. Let's see which ones made it to the contest.

OtF Hit of the Week (2/6-2/12)
This installment will come around every once in awhile, but most of weeks there aren't even 3 videos of hits from the Predators. Getting Jordin Tootoo back will help in that department.

OtF Goal of the Week (2/6-2/12)
Sorry, guys. I completely forgot to do this the past 2 days, but here it is.
Last week started to look like a stinker, with a shellacking by the worst team in the league. Who would have thought we would have 9 goals to choose from after that game? The Predators put on their big girl panties, though, and responded with the largest victory margin in franchise history in Motor City and welcomed Mr. Underwood to Nashville with a win Saturday night.

OtF Save of the Week (2/6-2/12)
I've always wanted to play goalie in the NHL, so let me extend my gratitude to Pekka Rinne for letting me borrow his jersey and helmet last Monday and suit up against the Edmonton Oilers. It didn't go as well as I planned, but I still had fun. Good thing I let him play the last 2 games, right?
GOC THINKS YOU SHOULD JUMP...
OtF Save of the Week (1/30-2/5)
This week featured an OT game against Calgary, our beloved rookie keeping the Flyers in check, and a shutout against the Red Wings to wrap it up. You know there's going to be a ton of choices to sort through after a week like that. Let's see which saves made the cut!

OtF Goal of the Week (1/30-2/5)
Your plays of the week are back with a little twist. As suggested by LuvthePreds, I will be breaking OtF Play of the Week up into Goal and Save of the Week. I may throw a Hit of the Week in every once in awhile (quality hits permitting, of course). So, what do you think about the new format? Sound off in the comments.

Anybody want to take over the POTW duties for the last 3 weeks? I have a very hectic schedule right now and just don't have the time to do it but I would still like to see this feature stay alive. Comment or email me if you're interested.
