Bless You Boys Obituaries of two former Tigers

I'm reading the March 23-April 5, 2009 edition of Baseball America. Obituaries for two former Tigers are listed. I missed both of them.

Eddie Brinkman, Tiger shortstop during the 1971, 72, 73 and 74 seasons passed away on September 30, 2008 in Cincinnati at the age of 66. Brinkman came to the Tigers from the Washington Senators in the Denny McClain trade. While with the Tigers, he won a Gold Glove in 1972 when the Tigers won the American League East. He made the All-Star team in 1973 and later coached for the Tigers in 1979.

Tom Tresh, who spent most of his career with the Yankees died on October 14, 2008 in Venice, Florida. He was 71. Tresh was born in Detroit and attended Central Michigan University. His father, Mike was a major league catcher with White Sox and Indians in the 1930's and 40's. Tom Tresh was traded to the Tigers on June 14, 1969 for Ron Woods. He retired after the 1969 season after batting .224 in 94 games for the Tigers.
