A guy who splits his sports associations between Michigan and New York I like the Buffalo Bills because we lived in Buffalo Between 86-90 when they were starting to get good and then had to spend the Super Bowl years out west with a bunch of Cowboys Fans so it was fandom by fire and ridicule. I'm a Yankees fan because of my grandpa and my good freind who is another NY transplant. Got into the Pistons around 2003-2004 never even watched basketball before that and I lke the team dynamic and the crazy bench players the Pistons always get. Hockey is definatley for the Red Wings because come on I spent 10 yrs in SE Michigan and I didn't want to die. As for college I support my Alma Mater Central Michigan University. That's why I say Fire Up Chips! Central Michigan all the way.

Saints Take Away Game not to be Overlooked
A key difference between the Saints this year and the Saints last year is on defense. According to Yahoo sports, one of the biggest improvements has come in the turnover department. The Saints have 6 interceptions and two forced fumbles in the first two games. In the Philadephia game three forced turnovers led to 21 points for the Saints. In the Lions game the Saints could have had 10 more points if they had converted drives that were the result of turnovers. Buffalo has had three turnovers and we know two of those have resulted in 14 points for other teams. We all the know the Saints offense is deadly lets hope the Bills don't let it onto the field anymore than necessary.
Getting paid dollars for a penny's worth of analysis
In one of Brian's recent postings about the state of the O-line I noticed that a number of postings (including ones I made myself and corrected by Kaisertown, thanks Kaiser) had to deal with anger over a Twitter post by a former NFL scout. It wasn't so much what he said that the O-Line had no depth this year but the sentence that came before it saying that he came to this opinion after "glancing at the depth charts" Now there are alot of dissenting opinions about the line but as Rumblers we come to these opinions through alot of knowlegdge about the team and the players themselves. It's not so much what the guy said but the knee jerk way he arrived at his conclusion. Now this guy was a pro scout and he is currently unemployed but unfortunatley we as fans have come to see this too often from "experts" who make good bank telling us about our teams based on very superficial "research."
Pistons take Serious Interest in Big Baby
With Rasheed Wallace, Antonio McDyess, Amir Johnson and Walter Herrman gone the Pistons will need some depth at the forward position if the rookies don't step up.
What did Joe Dumars Mean?
"Where we are as a team right now is where we were at the start of Rick Carlisle's era here," "We are in the same sort of transition mode. A $4 million to $5 million coach is not what we need right now."- Joe Dumars
Brady Poppinga?
Some thought that Brady Poppinga might be on the waiver wire at the end of training camp could be a decent pickup for the Bills
New Bills Team Report from Yahoo
Yahoo's Bills Team Report updated June 26th.
Covers most of the typically covered issues. The Pass rush and Schobel's foot. The Terrell Owens/ Joanna Krupa feud. How Owens will help Evans.
But there are two interesting tidbits about the saftey position under Lineup Watch. Also it's interesting how the writer feels at this point we will see Chambers/Mckinney over Levitre/Wood starting. But it's not even training camp and as we all know you can't judge the offensive line without the pads.
Hearing for Bills' Whitner delayed, but won't interfere with preseason
This article mentions a plea deal. Not entirely sure what that means, but if I had to guess, it means Donte doesn't have the proof of innocence that he thought and that the Cleveland Police department doesn't have that strong of a case either.
Could an Offensive weapon be on Defense?
Hi Everybody! This is my first post it's not anything major but I thought it might be a fun topic before the start of training camp. Deion Sanders, cornerback had 60 receptions for 784 yards and 3 touchdowns. William "The Refrigerator" Perry, DT, in 1985 rushed for 2 touchdowns and caught 1 touchdown. Mike Vrabel, linebacker, has so far caught 8 touchdown passes in his career. The image is always indelible a defensive player scoring on offense. So I put it to you members of Buffalo Rumblings, do the Bills this year have a secret offensive weapon in the ranks of the defense? Leave a comment and voice your opinion on who the Bills best 2-way player could be. Don't worry about past performance; this is pure speculation on potential.
Okay I'll get the ball rolling my pick is John Wendling special teams ace and safety, 6'1 222 lbs. I'm picking him because he's a good hard nose player, ohh and the fact that he had a 66 INCH VERTICAL JUMP and regularly jumps over the line in field goal drills (Chris Brown article last year mentioned this). Think of the possibilities, short yardage situations let him run the ball and just clear the line. Need a first down why not just lob the ball 6 feet in the air and let John jump for it. Well there's my pick and my argument. Think you know someone better? Let's hear it.

Rams release LB Tinoisamoa
You guys have to check this out. This guy would be perfect to round out the LB corp. He's got strong side size and you can't argue with his production this year (108 tackles, 88 solo, 3 sacks, 2 Forced Fumbles).
He's finished 2006 and 2007 on IR but what Bills player hasn't done that
