Judge to allow evidence in Dominic Cizauskas sexual assault case

We hope to have a more in-depth look at this case later in the week, but this news has been around for a few days now. Last week, a Dane County judge denied a motion to suppress evidence from a sexual assault exam in the case against Dominic Cizauskas, a linebacker from Mukwonago who committed to UW but never signed his Letter of Intent. Cizauskas allegedly sexually assaulted a female student in a UW dorm room in December and has been charged with third-degree sexual assault. His legal team argued the sexual assault exam should be thrown out because the victim reportedly had sexual contact with her boyfriend before the alleged assault. A hearing has been scheduled for June 9 and a trial is scheduled to start June 16.
