Mayock: Alshon Jeffery not worth a first-round pick

As I have said before, he's a nice player but I am not really sure why he's so adored. I get the measureables but if you watch the guy play...he's not better than Wright, Blackmon, Sanu, or Floyd and there's only so many teams that will take a receiver in the first.

Minimum cash spend will be based on unadjusted cap numbers

The Falcons are lacking in the salary cap department as are the Lions and Texans. Could open up possibilities with Curtis Lofton, Stephen Tulloch and (while maybe not important for us) Mario Williams.

Nnamdi's replacement gets cut

Pretty surprising but they need to solve some of their cap issues and he signed an unjustifiable contract last offseason. Routt is fast as hell and a good player but he's not worth what they paid him.

Found our backup Quarterback...the old one.

Sounds like Arizona will be the likely (for now) landing spot for Peyton if he can still play and gets cut by the Colts.

My latest Juiced Sports Mock Draft (now working)

Hey guys, just wanted to get you in on the discussion and since it's mock draft season, I figured I'd share with the brotherhood. It's two rounds so it ain't all about Kuechly lol. Enjoy. Sorry about earlier, the site crashed for a few hours. It's back up. Let me know what you think.

"According to Football Outsiders' charting numbers, Dimitri Patterson had an outstanding season with the Browns. His 67 percent success rate was seventh in the NFL among cornerbacks who were targeted at least 28 times." -Sheil Kapadia All I can say is wow.

We just added Ronald Johnson from the practice sqaud

Dude was pretty good at USC, they may want to see if he can be the 5th WR next year or the 4th if Riley Cooper or Avant becomes a starter. Either way, hopefully he plays and gets a touch over Chad Hall.

Evan Mathis on the season, being snubbed from the Pro Bowl

I'm sure most of us have talked to Evan and realized he's just a down to earth funny guy. I interviewed him again to see how he felt about the season and the major snub.

The Rise of San Francisco 49ers

Hey guys, this a new feature we have been introducing on my website Juiced Sports Blog, thought you might find it interesting. Thanks. After years of disappointment and failed coaches, the San Francisco 49ers have done more than just put themselves back on the football map in 2011 — they’ve put together the type of team that could (key word, could) contend for a Super Bowl title. After a work-man-like 20-3 drubbing of Big Ben and the hurting Steelers, the 49ers showed they’re not playing around. But are they playing well enough to beat the NFC’s elite? Are they Green Bay’s greatest threat? Also, we examine the rise of Alex Smith: once an inevitable goner, Smith has turned around his career just in time to be the face of an offense that continues to improve. We analyze all of this and more. A Happy holidays to you and yours. We, are Juiced Sports Radio.

John Skelton making Tebow-like strides in the NFC West.

Juiced Sports discusses the winning ability of John Skelton that the national media doesn't seem to be paying much attention to.

My 2012 Mock Draft, Take 1

Hey guys, I write for this site and I know everyone has been posting mock drafts, so if you just like reading those for fun, here is another one.

Extension on the way for Shady?

Sounds good to me. I think he deserves it significantly more than Desean. It will be interesting to see how this plays out as they share the same agent, Drew Rosenhaus.

Spags on the hot seat?

Juiced Sports is new radio show we're doing, just looking for a discussion. As a life-long Eagles fan I feel for Spags and don't think he's going anywhere. Thanks.

My interview with former Panther Evan Mathis

He's a great dude, just figured you may have interest from his time here. Thanks.

My interview with Evan Mathis

Evan has become our social media hero over the last few months, so I asked him for an interview and he was very open. He took sometime out his bye week to answer a bunch of questions. This is part one of two. Part two will be up tomorrow.

Jeff Fisher

Hey guys, I know after today's game there will be a lot of these posts but I just wanted to provide my perspective on a next possible coach. I am a huge fan of Fisher. He's been to a Super Bowl...

Keith Byars forced to step down from coaching gig for pushing player

It's pretty sad, I've met him a few times. He's a really nice guy and one of my first favorite Eagles when I was a little kid. I work for NBC down here and his press has been mixed.

The San Fran game next week

Hey guys I'm to my first game at the Linc and my first trip to Philly in 18 years next weekend. I was wondering if anyone on here was tailgating. My buddy and I are headed up Saturday but we'd love...

A.J. Edds just got cut by the Fins

I know Andy loved him out of Iowa last year. I could see him getting signed as a backup middle or weak backer. He's really athletic but had an injury last year. In other news, MJG is a Panther, and...

#bengals have waived WR Quan Cosby, TE Chase Coffman and C Reggie Stephens; claim G Mike McGlynn, TE Mickey Shuler and WR/KR Brandon Tate

Leaving one extra player for tomorrow.

Does anyone think the Eagles left an extra guy on the roster to trade the last guy to get to 80? Just a personal hunch.

Are the Eagles paying for a championship?:The Study.

A lot of talk from fans of other teams around the country has centered around us "buying a championship." Well I decided to research this by putting players in groups by their arrival and time with...

Dawkins coming back home?

I didn't get to see the video because it doesn't exist anymore for some reason, but NFL Network's Jason LaConfora said that Brian Dawkins could be a salary cap casualty. Now I know he may be on the...

Best O-Lineman

With all do respect to my good friend Qwest, who I sometimes agree with, I do believe that Todd Herremans is our best Offensive Lineman. He doesn't have the big name or the Pro Bowls but he has...

Early Christmas Present to my BGN Brotherhood: Can't appreciate present without a look at the past.

I woke up this morning and thought to myself “Who is our longest tenured starter?” and I got to the question because I know that we are pegged as a very young team, so I wanted to figure how...

Welcome back Rodgers!!!

He just got cleared...could help us get the division before we even play the Vikes...2nd seed in sight!!!

Two go over a thousand in our awesome stunner over the NYginas.

Hey just so you guys know we now have a 1,000 yd receiver and rusher this year. Desean and Shady both went over today and Maclin is at 890 so we could be looking at a young three headed pro bowl...

random thoughts as we approach the trade and pup deadlines.

I was wrong about Trevor Laws, I know I have been hard on him the last couple of years on here but I just thought he was another wasted pick on a Notre Dame D-lineman. He got us out of a lot of...
