Mike is a University of Houston alum who is a dad and a financial accountant in his real job. He began writing about the Texans and the Rockets in 2007 for multiple media outlets and after a short sabbatical from writing has decided to get back in the game with House of Houston.

He hosts two sports podcasts, one for the Rockets and the other for the Texans and both are available under the iTunes channel "Luv Ya Steel Blue." With his weekly "Step Up To The Mike" column, he is sure to inspire, offend, disgust and generate a reaction one way or the other.
