I live in Halifax, NS and have been a die-hard follower of the Columbus Blue Jackets since they were announced as an expansion team. I was previously a fan of the Calgary Flames, but became disenchanted with them. I decided to start over with one of the newer teams, teams with no history, no players. A fresh start.

It literally came down to a flip of the coin, between Columbus and Minnesota. I swore that no matter the success of the team, I would stick with them. Columbus won the flip, and I have been a fan since that day. It has gotten to the point where the Jackets are one of the biggest parts of my life and when they made the playoffs for the first time, it was like watching a child grow up before my eyes!

I am a Project Manager for an Engineering Firm, and I am a Mechanical Designer by trade. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and my other hobbies on top of blogging about the Jackets are film/film history; camping; entertaining friends and playing Men's Division 1 soccer, I am a goalkeeper.
