No surprise, this is what Brand received for an identical foul.

Bullets Forever Do the Heat need Pat Riley to coach their "superteam" to succeed?

A quick poll to see what others here think about the Heat's situation.  Obviously the definiton of succeed here is to win the NBA championship, anything else has to be considered a failure given the circumstances(at least in relation to this poll).

Will the Heat be able to win with Eric Spoelstra as coach, will they need Pat Riley to handle the personalities/egos or won't it matter who coaches them because they'll never mesh?

It won't matter who coaches, they will never mesh enough to win it all.

Player X really earned his paycheck with this in-depth analysis. Though I did learn that Kevin Durant is really 16 years old...and, uhm, at least we aren't Philadelphia.

You need ESPN Insider access to follow the link.

It's an insider article so if you can't access the article it lists AB second out of a total of ten players, after Robin Lopez.

Bullets Forever The Wiz have the worst roster

according to Chad Ford and John Hollinger.  They did an article for ESPN Insider ranking the teams based on what they predict will happen for the next three seasons.  Washington ranked 29.  But in the comments section they say that the Wiz have the worst roster and described EG as "bumbling" and that "he must be wondering what he has to do to get himself fired."  Also they noted the ownership transition to Leonsis(most likely scenario) as a question mark.

The thing that stood out the most though was their player rankings.  The scale is 0-400 based on current players, their potential for the future and expected departures.  The Wiz ranked dead last with a score of 30....out of 400!  The team ranked 29(Bobcats, also the team ranked 30 overall) scored 74 points and the Pacers(#28 in the player rankings) scored 104.  So they are saying that not only are the Wiz last, but they are last by quite a margin.

The other criteria used in the rankings were management(28), money..cap situation(7), market(17), draft picks and position(6)....the Wizards ranking are in the parenthesis.

I have to admit I prefer Marc Stein over Chad Ford and I think John Hollinger gets too wrapped up in his numbers at times, so while I wasn't expecting much from them this still sort of shocked me.  Of course the Wiz will struggle while rebuilding, but I don't think to the degree that they propose.
