For the past decade being a 49ers fan has been unbearably tough, I would say 2002 started it all off. Then the 49ers still had garnered a bit of respect around the league, however that was becoming marred by chemistry issues. Well the long story short is the team imploded in the postseason, the off season wasn't much different.Since then the 49ers have had quite the run of exquisite awfulness, Dennis Erickson and Mike Nolan top the list of awfulness during this dark ages on which we reflect. Sure you could sprinkle in Tim Rattay,Ken Dorsey, and quite a few others point is that it was bad.
After the jump I will try entertain you with a bit of the 49ers history.This is my first stab at writing in quite a while so all criticism is welcomed.

So angry about the Madden Roster update!!
Well Donny Moore is heralded as the ratings czar! He must hate the 49ers since Scott Tolzien wasn't in the update and he lowered Spencers 81 rating to a 78. No boost were givin to 49ers like Kendall Hunter, Demarcus Dobbs, Kyle Williams or Aldon Smith. He also flubbed Ian Williams jersey #

Madden 12 players our EA roster ratings forum is dead!!! If you play Madden get on over to the 49ers roster and ratings thread and join in! There are plenty of things that need to be fixed as far as player ratings go and if we don't speak they will never change!
Westbrook Vs. Green Bay

I did some rummaging through Westbrook's career stats and what I found was a good indicator for this Sunday against Green Bay. Since 2003 Westbrook has only faced the Packers 5 times while with the Eagles. He was not active for one game in 2006, so I took that one out.
Brian Westbrook Vs Green Bay has him 3-1 from 2003 to 2007, if he had played a down in 2006 it would be 4-1. His first outing against the Pack was forgettable with 5 att for 1 yd in 2003, after that it gets interesting. In 2004 Westbrook carried the ball 12 times for 37 yds however he hauled in 11 receptions for 156 yds and 3 TD's. In 2005 Westbrook rushed 20 times for 120 yds and 1 TD he also added 4 receptions for 11 yds. The lone loss he possesses against the Pack was actually not a bad outing for him with 20 Att for 85 yds and 6 receptions for 46 yds.
The major key I see in his winning stats Vs his losing stats is a touchdown when Westbrook scores he is more likely to win. So it seems even though Green Bay holds the series record with 33 W to the 49ers 26 and there being one lone Tie we have an ace in the whole against the 7-4 Packers.

Well if any of you play madden religiously you probably know that EA has it's own forum for this and if you partake in that forum you know Ninjames is our Team Captain. Well the thread over there has been glitchy and it has taken weeks for some of our posts to go up well I put together this Facebook group so we can continue to have our discussions about our teams Ratings however pointless it may seem to some.

Call me crazy, I know losing on that kind of play sucks. I have a renewed sense of hope for this franchise and I have a renewed sense of faith in both Alex Smith and Coach Mike Singletary.After the Jump I will take you on a wild ride in which our beloved 49ers go 9-0 after this Monday night loss.

Before our season kicked off last Sunday, we were considered the favorites in the NFC West.Now after a loss hard to swallow for all the 49ers faithful, we have gone from favorite to forgotten.The 49ers have a tremendous chance this Monday night to prove to the NFL that they are what they say they are!! Sorry couldn't resist the Denny Green homage.

Throughout the preseason to this point we have had some solid play from reserve LB's. Those guys include Briggs, LaBoy and Bowman, that isn't where it ends though with some very nice performances turned in by Kristick, Davis and Balogun.With this many guys making strides it is sad to have to see a cut day looming upon us after our game against San Diego.
