I've been watching the Red Wings since 1967 when I was ten years old and we pointed the antenna toward Detroit to pick up WKBD Channel 50 to watch the games. We have lived in northern California for 20 years now but I'm still a devoted follower. Nostalgia aside, I do prefer watching HD on a DVR to watching 480 interlaced on a B&W Zenith. My profession involves a lot of research and data analysis to understand processes underlying perceptual phenomena, so I'm inclined to crunch numbers to help figure out why my teams appear to do well or not so well. But I have never been able to figure out the Lions....
