Last night i was watching the Tigers 9Th inning after the Yank got shut down by a rookie. When i was watching the game Damon came up and had a 10 pitch at bat. It got me thinking are missing Damon at all. If you look at the numbers other than Slg and Ops Gardner is doing better. I know that Gardner is entering his prime and Damon is on the down fall. It just seems like if you had to pick one of the 2 for a at bat in the playoffs i would take Damon in a Heart beat. Maybe in 2-3 years i would take Gardner but I do miss those Johnny Rocket.

Don't get me wrong when he came up i was all into it. I got my Joba shirt  "Joba Rules" I even met him in NY when they had a big signing. If you go back on how many Trades he was the Center of we didnt pull kinda makes me mad. Halladay, Santana, and King Flex. I feel like we could upgrade some much more then a Drunk Overratted Set up man. ON the internet I heard the  Rockies and yankes might trade joba for morales. I'm ready for it a good set up man for Mo. The yanks just have to cut the losses. Admitt they messed up with moving him to the pen then starting then pen. I know everyone is gonna bitch and say hes young im nuts but its time. Baseball seem to have a probelm holding on to players. The Boss always had a football way. Your telling me after Big Dose Papi got out at 2nd you werent sitting on the edge of your seat thinking A-ruth is going to have an a bat. Then they were showing the replay of Big Dose papi getting put out at 2nd over and over again. You couldnt see if anyone coming up to the plate. Before the out you seen Joe Looking down the bench. A-ruth was getting Loose. In my Mind it took me back to the twins game when he came up and tied the game. Then the cam goes to home plate.Its Ian Kinsler up not the best Clutch Hitting in the league in a-rod. I know your gonna say no hes now but im going by last year. Plus he just had a Clutch hit in Seattle Four days ago in the 8th. I know YOUR GONNA SAY PUJOLS but im just speaking from last years playoffs we got the ring cause of A-ruth.

Also what pissed me off about last night is that if its gonna count then let the Allstars play. I feel like the Nl had True All stars playing we had guys like Buck Batista and Elvis. Now if the yankees make it to the world seris we got to play games 6 and 7 away from home. We might have 100 wins and play the Reds with 88 win. All in all this Allstar week days SUCKED! Only a couple of think i enjoyed this week. Jeter walking up to the Voice , Andy Doing his thing at 39 after the roids.( i hope andy goes 18-6 to show that he didnt need the roids and it was just for healing a inj) and Romine Hitting the Double.

I would just like to know why no one comes down on David Ortiz about Roids. I love how every yankee admitted it. They talked about it for and hour. Almost every question answered. First what really made me mad was ESPN acting like he was The Babe and never did anything wrong. Then this morning I was on the Espn Sport Nation Polls website and one of the questions was Should David be a Hall of Famer. What ???????? Big Dose Papi was the Clearest person to me who took roids. One side Note I am really starting to repect A-rod more and more everytime he talks about his career. I know a lot of it is Bullshit but all the answers i like is that he always talkes about the last year about the better place he is in. I kinda do believe him.

No one on this Page can tell me that they haven't ever looked at Manny and was like DH for the Yanks. I know with Posada up there in age. He's gonna have to DH A lot more but think ahead to 2011 Line up . Jeter 1 Cano 2 , Tex 3, Arod 4, and a Heathlty DH Manny 5. I know he's not the same player who played in Boston but look at our DH's this year. Nick Johnson one of the worst signs ever by Cashman, Marcus is a Waste great at bat off the Beach but a Waste, and our 4 rookies/ AAA allstars. All im saying is thats one scary Line up and one can only wish.

One More thing it could be a Sign like Strawberry , Justice and Cecil. and look on how those high risk over aged worked out

With  Nick Johnson out Indef it has me wondering who's gonna be our everday DH? I'm Just not sold on Thames, Winn , and having some back up play for Jeter Arod and Tex Once a Week. We have another 4-5 Weeks till Posada Comes back. If anything Cervelli Could be our everyday Catcher with Back from maybe Jesus or Rom. Making Posada our everyday DH which he could fill in once a week Catching.

If i could Pick anyone i would Grab a Lance Berkman if he dropped his no Trade or a Carlos Lee . There isn't that Start out there. Maybe a old Travs haf from the Indians or a Return Of a Alfonso Soriano. My Dream Fit tho would be a Prince Fielder. Put him in this short Right field he would hit just like his Daddy did but that's not likely to happen. Who would you pick to be our DH.
