Trade! Trade! Trade!
No more trade! We have to ride it out this season. We cannot be thinking trades whenever the Dubs play awful. And the rumor about sending either Wright or Randolph to the Bobcats for Felton is a bad trade, I think. I thought the concept behind trading J-RICH was to go big? Getting Felton (good player but not GREAT) in my opinion, is a step backwards, we’re back playing small ball. If the trade does NOT involve an impact player like Baron (someone who can take over from the get go), FORGET IT!
This season should be devoted developing the young players. They should get more playing time this year to gain experience and most importantly to mold and grow together on the court.
Check it out, a lot of you were ready to ship Belinelli out, but so far he’s proven a lot of you wrong. Seems like the guy is NOT a one hit wonder. So far he is the only one who’s been consistent night after night. And six games out of seven, the guy has been scoring double figures and showing flash of brilliance assist wise and good defense. I still believe this group of Warriors has more talent than last. It’s just a matter of getting playing time to get them going and I think The Nellie is starting to realize that.
We fans just have to suck it up this season and give this group of WARRIORS a chance to flourish. They are young talented players and therefore have no reason why they cannot be contenders in the very NEAR future. So long as ego does NOT stand in the way and they play as a group, I think we fans will see quality basketball for many years to come.
Unless we are getting The Baron back (I know, wishful thinking) or someone better, no more BAND-AID TRADE! Develop the talents we have this year, bring out the best in them, period.

What is wrong with the Warriors?
Leadership, and we are all seeing the result of loosing a leader. I still think that this year’s group of Warriors are better than last (in terms of talent). What they are missing is a bona fide leader. This is where Baron excelled (in addition to being a talented player). Remember, even though both Baron and Jackson were co-captains, only one led and that was Baron. He is undeniably the man on the floor, he is the God Father, no ifs, no buts. He led by example, a natural leader whose most IMPORTANT ATTRIBUTE is, his presence of “authority” (i.e., we all respect our moms, but when our dads spoke, it’s like John Hancock). And when you have two other vets following him (like Harrington & Capt. Jack), the rest of the players follow automatically. On the court, only one person (with the exception of the coaches) gets to point his finger and bark at his team mates. Baron is just one of those players who can come in and take over (just like he did the first year he joined the Dubs and no one player challenged him) and everyone else follows. Can you imagine Jackson telling Baron what to do? It ain’t going to happen, but the other way around, definitely. There was only one ego who was bigger than the rest (especially Jackson and Harrington) and that was Baron (Shaq has a very big ego, but Kobe’s ego is waAaay bigger than his). Players like Kobe, LeBron & Baron can talk the talk and walk the walk (even when they loose)… they are genuine leaders. Their aura commands authority. Even the best player on the team, Monta, will follow Baron’s lead.
Right now, what is happening with the Dubs is everyone is trying to make a difference. Jackson is trying SO hard that sometimes he becomes a detriment to the team (turnovers). There is no doubt that everyone is trying to give it their best, unfortunately with the absence of “good” leadership on the court (who can organize, assist and find the high percentage shot) I don’t think we will see a turnaround anytime soon . Everyone seems to think they are the go to guy, shoot the ball instead of finding the better shot.
It is a shame because this group of Warriors can play with the best teams the NBA has to offer (they have shown it numerous times). If they can start emulating the type of decipline they had the last three years, there is hope (we can have the best players but without decipline, it's NOT going to work and both Kobe & Lebron realized that now). Fortunately, the season is still young and it is not too late to rectify this problem. The question is, who will lead them on the floor? Jackson is reactive and unless he changes his approach, someone else has to take over and Nellie must realize that. We need a traffic cop on the floor, someone who will finish and players will follow (even those with big egos). Not just a leader but someone who is proactive, Who will that be?

Ovation for Baron...
With all these articles surfacing about Rowland, the more I am convinced that Baron’s “opting out” was not about him (Baron) at all. This is all about Rowland, his ego and his desire to rule... to be the man.
Therefore I think it’s only right for us Dubs fans, to give Baron the ovation he deserves (when the Clippers come to the Coliseum to play the Warriors). After all, he gave us three productive, and definitely one of the exciting years of Warriors ball. As the most loyal, loudest fans in the NBA, we should set the example and show everyone we are appreciative fans, especially for one player who almost brought us on top. There is no reason to boo him as he is the one player that put the Warriors back to prominence. Remember, Baron was ready to honor his agreement with Mullin until Rowland got involved and nixed it.
What do you guys think?

I still think this group of Warriors will be better than last, what do you guys think?
Yes we are 3-6, but we could easily be 6-3 as well (three of the six losses could have gone the other way easily if not for turnovers). And it is not like the opponents are outplaying us. Actually, the Dubs are doing just fine (considering Ellis is out, Magette nursing an injury (before the Pistons game) and Harrington nursing his ego). Even the loss to the Pistons could have easily been a win (momentum changed when Biedrins missed his dunk). The young guns are very talented, aggressive and are not afraid to show it. In my opinion, we should leave this roster alone and just build it. Give everyone who deserves the minutes to play to gain experience and confidence. Even Nellie is now realizing he has talented players, when was the last time we all saw him play rookies this early in the season? If done right (no reason why it cannot unless management gets in the way) with Mullin and Nellie’s coaching, this group of Dubs can be winners for a long time, and we are talking about the youngest team in the NBA... "Captain Jack and his young guns"...LOL! What do you guys think?

Golden State: 110 Portland: 95... are they good?
What do you guys think? Will they be better than last? Too early to say? By the way, thanks for the link... it was pretty cool to watch 'em play on my laptop. Well, I just think that this team will be better than last. It looks like the second stringers will be just fine this year. Brandon played really well on this game... so that's very encouraging. So, I really think the DUBS will just be fine without Davis.

The Baron did what is best for HIM...
And I don't blame him. First of all, it is NOT like he openly asked to be traded or openly stated he wants to play for the Clippers. I am also sure that he meant what he said when he stated he "will honor the remaining of his contract as a WARRIORS". UNTIL, the opportunity to go back to L.A. was presented to him. Can you blame him for making that decision? Of course not.
Secondly, the Baron gave it his all when he was a WARRIORS. Matter of fact, he was the only WARRIORS who played all 82 games last year. So what does that tell us fans? He cared and he meant business.
I was upset myself when I found out. But when the dust settled and I put myself in his position, I WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME THING. He is going back where he always wanted to be. His heart is in L.A. and after his tenure in the NBA, his future is in the L.A. area. So what is wrong with that?
The right thing to do is thank him for the good memories and wish him the best. The only thing I want from him is a REFUND for buying his jersey....LOL !!!
Remember, you take care of yourself first, then you can take care of others. You do what is best for you. Life is too short, don't worry be happy.
Cheer him on when he gets back at the Oracle Arena. Afterall, he was one of the reasons why ORACLE became the loudest arena in the NBA. LET'S GO DUBS!
