This is simple. If they rest the old guys (let them play 15 mins a game) from here on out. Doing that they can't do any worst than the 5 seed. That means they get Denver either way....4th or 5th seed.

Again simple, they are a good team. they are not the best team in the NBA, but why should that matter!!! They are vets with a history for going to the NBA championship. They just need to stay focused on the end goal by:

- Resting (not sitting) the core team

- They need to start practicing for Denver

- They need to focus on taking care of business in the first/last 3 mins of every quarter

And we see where we land. Let's talk about the future a month from now. As Mavs fans let's simply pull for the guys we have now. Let's get focused on what matters, and simplify life.

Does anyone know Drew Gooden's phone number?  We need to text that dude and let him know how much we would like to see him back in a MAVs uniform.  If he comes back as a power forward that will be a huge bonus..........Drew Gooden can score and give us a four man rotation at the PF/C postion once Eric Damper makes it back.  Plus he is a capable asset for the future.  The trade has been huge, but he could be the missing piece of the puzzle.

What are the latest rumors on trading Damp?  If it's going to happen it would be nice to get the new guy in here!  Everyone knows the Kidd trade came to late.  Anyone have a scenario or wish?  I am thinking a young scorer, serious post player, and a name?

Sign and trade Kidd to Boston for Rondo and Allen. Then sign and trade Boozer for Howard and Stack. The new starting line up....Rondo, Allen, Wright, Dirk & Boozer.....then....JJ, Terry, Singleton, Bass, and Damp.   If the money works out here, this should make all parties happy.  Kidd gets his shot with Kevin, Boozer gets his shot with Dirk and Allen, Celt's get one of the best point gaurds ever, and Jazz get a scoring three guard.  Anyone think Donnie could get this done.  Someone e-mail Cuban.
