Mason/Lindback Goaltending Quandry
Hokay, so I'm in 3rd place in a 15 team Roto league that counts G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SOG for skaters and W, GAA, SV%, and SO for goalies.
My team is:
C - Ryan Kesler, Antoine Vermette, Sam Gagner, Stephen Weiss
LW - Alex Ovechkin, Patrik Elias
RW - Danny Briere, Alex Semin, Anthony Stewart
D - Tobias Enstrom, Brent Burns, Mark Giordano, Kevin Shattenkirk
G - Jonas Hiller, Steve Mason, Anders Lindback
So here's my issue. I had the benefit of riding Lindback when he was smoking hot while Rinne was on the shelf. Now Rinne is back and Lindback's future is uncertain as far as playing time. Mason is a headcase who I've been hesitant to play recently. It looks like he should ride the pine for a bit, but Garon wasn't great last night either. This leaves my only worthy option in goal as Hiller, who's been sharp for me so far. However, I don't see success stemming from having one starter on my roster.
The only goalie that seems worthy of picking up is Khabibulin. He's played well lately but Renney says that he wants to split the duties up a bit. I'm also somewhat wary of dropping either Lindback or Mason. Lindback was stellar when he played, and I feel like he might still get some time despite Rinne being back. Garon has never been consistent and if Mason picks his game back up, it seems like a waste for someone like Khabibulin.
I'm pretty stacked offensively, so I've been considering flipping a deal with someone who could use offensive production and is strong in G. There's someone who is a little ways down in the standings who has Pavelec and Lundqvist, and I was considering trading a big name forward for Lundy.
As you can see, I've over analyzed this to the point that I've confused myself with all the options that I have. Any advice would be appreciated.
Off The Record Panel Discusses Mike Green
I saw this today and I don't think it's been posted around here.
interesting...this actually gets pretty fiery, with former Cap Bryan Muir fronting the Green lobby.
So this is pretty old, and some of you may have seen it already (I actually don't remember how I came across it so it may have been from here), but regardless, tell me it doesn't get you jacked up for hockey in August.
As long as you don't think about what happened after they played this video it's pretty ill.
